We had another automatic, keyless entry system that stopped working so a new one was needed. I did some research and found Phillips to be very reliable and a good value. In less than 45 minutes, I had the old system removed and this one installed. Setup was smooth as silk and connected without a single issue. The instructions were easy to follow and very detailed. The smart plug that was included was a great bonus but not needed to connect to our WiFi and Bluetooth. I love that it has notifications for door locked and unlocked and the activity tracking shows who opened/unlocked the door. It’s very quiet and very smooth with locking and unlocking. I couldn’t be happier and definitely recommend this system to anyone looking to upgrade their front door security with an attractive and functional system.

This Philips smart lock has been a great upgrade for my home. Installation was straightforward, and the setup process was quick and easy. I currently have it connected with Alexa and use multiple access options, including fingerprint access, keypad codes, and the traditional key. Having so many ways to unlock the door makes it very convenient for everyone in the household. The lock feels secure, works reliably, and the smart features add a lot of convenience to everyday use. My only wish is that the key cylinder matched my existing Kwikset keys so I could have one key for the entire house instead of carrying multiple keys. Overall, I'm very happy with this smart lock and would recommend it to anyone looking for an easy-to-install lock with flexible access options.

This is our experience with this product. We do have prior experience with installation of locks, deadbolt locks and smart locks. Although this product looks modern and sleek and boasts some great features, in reality it is just a disaster start to finish. Highly recommend you RUN FAR AWAY from this product. Specifically, the handle set was apparently defective (or maybe they all do not work?). We spent HOURS trying to get a seemingly simple device to work. This includes 45 minutes with a very generous Home Depot employee knowledgeable about locks, our door installer (also knowledgeable with locks), and a number of emails back and forth with Philips support. Be aware, their support is completely ineffective. It appears these are just people answering a phone and trying to help by looking stuff up in a manual. No real product knowledge as far as we could tell. Difficulty in setting up the software - it took us several tries to get this working properly. Be aware the password reset "feature" is non-functional. It only directs you to the login screen where it asks for a password. Clearly, if you are needing a password reset providing a password will be impossible. Even if you call support, apparently, they cannot reset a password either. Yes, makes no sense, but here we are. Software does not always display the correct status of the lock. For instance, if you are away from home and want to check the status, you may find it tells you the door is unlocked (concerning) when it actually is locked. Or vice versa. I have stood right at the door and had the software tell me the door was locked when it was not. The fingerprint recognition technology, while seemingly a cool feature, is VERY hit-or-miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Very aggravating. If you get through all this and do decide to buy this product I would STONGLY advise that you dry fit the components of the handle set first BEFORE you drill the lower hole in your door. We spent a week highly stressed over this stupid lock because we had already drilled the hole for the handle set before we realized it did not work. Professionally installed, quality doors are expensive, and we were very worried our new door had been ruined and that we would not be able to get another handle set to fit to the existing hole. Save yourself time, money and stress - do not buy this awful product.

Every few days always in the middle of the night it wigs out starts saying door locked, and door unlocked. The door is locked the whole time. The lock won't reset. I have to take a battery out for hours until it starts working for a day or two without issue and then out of nowhere it wigs out again. I wouldn't buy this product. It's alot of money for even more hassle when it doesn't work right which is ALOT! When it works it's fantastic. ******Update**** So customer service agent Isabella was GREAT. I contacted them but they also contacted me after I left my review. They sent a replacement very quickly. It's already installed and working great. What impressed me the most is that they didn't JUST send a replacement and call everything good. They wanted to know for sure what went wrong and told me what they thought the problem was. I sent them a picture of the part on the lock where they thought moisture was causing an issue and sure enough that is exactly what it was. I asked them what I should do to prevent that from happening again because I live in Texas it's hot and humid. They are suppose to send the info to their technicians and let me know what they suggest. Let me be clear the lock works great. It looks great, and is very convenient. If there is a way to prevent the moisture issue that would make this lock absolutely perfect.

Got the lock for a new construction but when it was installed it would not work properly. Call Philips Customer Care and spoke to George. He sent me out a new lock and it worked great. Good smart lock and customer care was great.

We love the ease of install & use and the quality of this WiFi touch entry and door handle by Philips. WiFi works great, touch sensor so easy and fast. Nice looking too! Only things to consider here is if the door is in direct sunlight. Can't see keypad in bright sun, and being black, it can get hot to the touch. Comes with mini WiFi extender. Sugg: Strong Buy
