This thing is absolutely incredible, and just gets better with time once you start to get new types of razor attachments. I have used this device, and I mean one singular unit of the Oneblade, for 4 years now. The only problem I've started to run into is battery, it lasts long enough for me to shave, but I have to make sure its charged before I want to use it, it likes to die on standby. Its not the closest shave ever, but more than enough for my usage. The blades aren't traditional razors, they have this diamond pattern on the actual razor bit which is what cuts the hair. Its also fairly cheap and comes with quite a few attachments for closeness of shave and whatever else. Leaves my skin as smooth as any other razor as well, or atleast I can't notice any roughness. ... show more

    • Wow! Fantastic detail trimmer!

Bought this to do detail trimming around beard. Also to use for "personal" trimming. I was surprised how close this thing can shave! Much better than I expected! I can quickly trim around my beard, cleaning up the ragged edges. Good enough to get by without putting a razor to it to finish off and look good. If I am going formal I would use the razor to finish it perfect, but most of the time I don't need it! I tried the stubble guides & they work fantastic! Wish I had found this in spring, when I was thinning my beard down. It works super fast and accurate, can't wait till spring comes again, cause getting the stubble look will be so easy compared to my old trimmer! The battery seems to last forever on a charge! Maybe because it is so easy & fast to use. I charge it so seldom, I have to hunt for the charger. The replacement blades seem pricey, but mine last much longer than regular blades, so I think I am probably spending less on them. I don't care though, this thing is so nice! Now, the other reason I got this was to try it as a "personal" trimmer. You know, to get the crotch hair under control! Literally every scissors, trimmer or razor I have tried to use to trim my crotch area, no matter how slowly & carefully I worked, I have ended up cut, nipped, and bleeding, sometimes in multiple areas. I had pretty much given up on taming it. I saw that some guys said this works great. I decided that at the least, another beard trimmer wouldn't hurt, as I don't really like mine all that much. And if it works as a personal trimmer too, great! WOW! Cautiously, I tried it, and it trimmed around there with NO nips, cuts, or scrapes!!! If I were reckless I might be able to hurt myself, but there weren't any problems while being moderately careful! I was even able to trim on my rod, which is as scary as it gets! And I was surprised how close it would trim! FINALLY! A personal trimmer that ONLY trims the hair! If you are looking for a trimmer for the stubble look, this is great for that. If you are looking for a personal trimmer that isn't out to maul you, GET THIS ONE! ... show more

    • Say goodbye to razor bumps…

If you’re someone who suffers from razor bumps this shaver is the one you’re looking for. I have a Braun 7 series and it works pretty well for limiting skin irritation and my razor bumps but the blade replacement way too fast due to my coarse facial hair. Not to mention the hefty price tag for the unit, replacing blades and even cleaning solution for the base. This OneBlade is a way better shave than my Braun and it’s overall cost of ownership is far less. Hands down the best shave system I’ve ever used to consistently shave and not have ANY shave irritation or razor bumps. The best my skin has ever looked! My routine is I use a little ‘Shave Secret’ oil after I’ve hit my face with a hot wash rag for a few mins to open my pores. Once the shave secret is on I lather a basic gel shaving cream and follow the directions the shaver gives you for best operation/shave technique. If I really need a close shave I’ll follow that up by using my safety razor (new blade of course) and some additional shave cream applied with my silver tipped badger brush, then rinse my face with cold water afterwards to close my pores and limit any irritation. The battery lasts longer than I need it and it recharges quick. You can use it in the shower since it’s waterproof and the ability to shave sensitive areas on your body is unmatched with the different body guards (make sure you use different blades for body and face). As an African American male I just wanted to get this post out there to help anyone else who has struggled with finding a good shave system. Hands down fastest, most consistent and best shave I’ve found. So far I still can’t believe the price point. Add this to your quiver of shave options…you will not be disappointed. ... show more
