This skirt is beautiful. The thickness gives it the great quality feel. The seams are precisely. I was looking for a skirt at knee or above knee length. Unfortunately this was too long for what I had in mind (I already have a black pencil knit style skirt). I’m 5’7 & wear a size medium 6/8. I went with a Large because of the waist size 29. The size fit perfect. I don’t think I need a medium. The slit is a sexy touch but I think with my size the medium will run the slit way too high. This skirt is really comfortable. My only issue with it is that the seam lines are oddly placed. There are four seams running down the skirt and they are all spaced differently. The only way to make the seams look proportionality placed is to have 2 in the front and 2 in the back but this puts the waist band seam in the front of the dress. I love the feel and fit of the skirt otherwise. I think I am just going to put a broch over the seam. ... show more

Wow! This is a great looking skirt on. It is a very snug fit. No matter which size you get. It will show all of your imperfections. Spanx would be a great idea! It is a long skirt on me. I am 5’2 and 135 pounds and ordered a large. I will be hemming this.

    • I’ve worn it twice and it’s already falling apart.

I loved the shape and fit of this skirt but after wearing it twice there are already loose threads everywhere, and it’s pilling. It’s so disappointing because I really did love the fit of it but I can’t believe how flimsy it is.
