As a barber, I’ve used a lot of trimmers, and this one is the BEST MONEY CAN BUY. The GoldFX blade it comes with is insanely sharp and gives the cleanest, crispest lines straight out of the box—no modifications needed (but be careful because it is sharp). If you want to talk about debulking, these will cut through hair, thick or think, like butter. I've personally have had a gold fx blade for over a year and it still hits like the day I got it. It’s easy to handle, fits perfectly in your hand, and the grip makes it effortless to use from any angle around the head. The build quality is excellent—solid, durable, and reliable through daily use. The battery life is great, and it comes with everything you need: charger, blade guard, oil, and a brush. What’s also nice is how customizable it is. You can swap out blades, grips, and even upgrade the battery if you want to—but honestly, the default setup is already top-tier. The gold finish gives it a premium look, although it does scratch easily, so just keep that in mind. If you’re serious about clean lines and quality tools, this is the one, you'd never regret.

The first thing that pops out about these trimmers are the aesthetics - it looks really cool (especially in gold!) I am not a professional barber, but wanted to try my hand at a self haircut during the quarantine, so I did some research and ended up purchasing these BabyLiss PRO Trimmers. These clippers are a lot lighter than they look. They fit very nicely in the hand, and the Maglite flashlight shaped handle has some very nice stippling that makes the trimmers easy to grip. I love the fact that the trimmer blade is “exposed” and doesn’t have anything obstructing my the view when lining up - this is especially critical when trying to do this in a mirror on yourself. Also very happy that they included a device to zero gap the blade. I also have the PRO FX Clippers, and wish they included something similar for those! The battery life is great. I’ve used it 5 or 6 times already on one charge. Overall, these are a bit pricier than some of the other cordless trimmers out there, but in my experience so far, they’ve been a quality product. I would definitely recommend these trimmers.

Growing up my dad used to cut my hair and I didn't always like the way he would cut my hair. Then I started waking up in the early mornings to go to the barber shop. That was a little better than my dad cutting my hair but there would always be a long wait in the barbershop and you probably won't be leaving until the early afternoon. When covid-19 hit it was impossible to get to the barber shop, so I took it upon myself to learn how to cut my own hair. I often watch a lot of youtube videos about haircuts, I first found out about these trimmers when watching youtube tutorials and immediately fell in love with these trimmers. The design and the variety of colors that they have are an immediate eye catcher, AND THEY’RE WIRELESS. I’ve watched youtube reviews from 360Jeezy and Get Beamed, they made me really want to learn and invest in how to cut hair. I watch their videos as soon as they come out to find ways to better my craft at cutting hair. With the price point of $188 I immediately thought they were worth it for me, because I save money by cutting my own hair instead of going to the barbershop and paying anywhere from $15 to $30 for a haircut. I also cut other people's hair, so the money I spent on them will only come back. The trimmers come in a box where the trimmers are displayed through a clear window. In the box you will also find everything you will need to take care of the trimmers like, a screwdriver specifically for the trimmers, a charger, and oil for the blades so that they don't get rusty. The trimmers are light in weight and easy to maneuver, with the 360 degrees view of the blade it makes it easy to see around the trimmers and to the targeted area. The clippers are wireless making the entire cutting hair experience even better than it already is. The blade on the trimmers comes with it zero-gapped meaning the blades have zero gaps between them. When you cut the clippers on they make a soothing buzz sound that's almost silent compared to other trimmers. I started off cutting hair using the Andis T Outliners, trimmers that everyone is most familiar with. The Andis T Outliners are trimmers that most people start with and they are sometimes the most reliable. That's quickly starting to change because of the Babyliss Fx trimmer line. The Babyliss trimmers create prominent lines almost effortlessly, compared to the Andis, where you may have to go over the line multiple times before being satisfied with the way it comes out. My favorite part about the experience of cutting hair is after I see my client with a smile on their face while looking in the mirror to examine the cut, or when they take a video on their phone to show my work to others. The only negative opinion I have on the trimmers is the battery life. I think the battery life should be a bit longer for the price that it's set at. You paid for wireless trimmers so that's what you should get, the battery should not take too long to charge and it should take longer than it does to die. It's very inconvenient when they die, especially when you have clients in line.

First off, the product seems to be as advertised. Using it alongside other babyliss products and others. There is a concern that the product is used. Based on other post of what appears to be hair fibers on product out the box. Washed my hand and then unboxed the item. Did notice hair like particles from the machine. With that being said! The power of the liners are great and blade sharpness is great. They handle and cut smoothly. Word to the non barbers! If you do not know how to set the blade to achieve proper alignment. Have someone professional to do it. Some post have complained about blade sharpness. If blades are new and undamaged they should achieve some level of hair removal regardless. The best way to align blades is under the aid of a magnifying lens. That way you can achieve the correct setting of your blade. I know these liners come with a gap tool but they don't always achieve the correct gap. Too low they won't cut, too high they will cut you.😆 These are a good buy! I did not give it 5 stars because I just got them. So a 4 will do for now!
