Purchased this exhaust for a 2005 Yamaha Zuma 50. Provided a lot more mid through top end power. Gave me an extra 8-10 mph. The bracket is not a direct oem fitment. Modifications and a new bracket will need to be fabricated. Also re jetted both main and pilot jet. It is a loud exhaust and it does sound like a 2 stroke dirt bike. For the price you can’t beat it. I got this exhaust yo replace the factory Benelli exhaust. I had to replace the factory exhaust because it was extremely plugged and was not useable. I was not looking to spend a lot of money, I just wanted a decent exhaust so I could get my scooter back on the road. Honestly for the money this is a good exhaust. It looks pretty good, it seems to work good and it looks very much like the factory original that was on my scooter. Here is what you should know about the exhaust. It is louder than a factory exhaust. I would say it sounds alot like a YZ80 exhaust. Also for me it was not a direct fit, meaning some cutting and drilling of the mounting plate was needed. However I did expect lite modding would be needed. After the cutting and drilling it was a good fit. Also you will need a flat exhaust gasket to install with it. I have no complaints and i feel the price and quality are good. ... show more

Sounds good. Looks good. But no it does not fit an 09 yw50 like it says I did have to fabricate my own mount and it's stays on. but if I didn't have a welding machine or cutting disc to change the mount to fit a zuma 50. Then your just shut out of luck. because there is no possible way youll get this to fit in a zuma 50 right out of the box.. at all.. you'll have to build your own mount. ... show more

UPDATE: the pipe snapped off at the flange, it’s got about 200 miles on it and when coming to a stop sign it snapped off at the flange where it bolts onto the cylinder, now I’m out of riding my scooter. I bought this for my 2001 Yamaha vino yj50 2 stroke 50cc scooter, specs are off and it did not mount without modification. It looks like it was meant to work without modification as the support bracket bolt holes have the correct spacing and alignment for the engine bracket mount but with that in place the manifold does not line up with the cylinder head, it’s off enough to where the hole pipe has to come forward and rotate alittle. Since you move it forward the bracket hits the fan shroud so you have to trim the bracket there and I drilled 2 holes further back as seen in pictures. I think the tooling for manufacturing or quality (or both) is a problem but now that it’s in there is does perform decent! My stock exhaust was already unrestricted and with this pipe on it, the bike has a decent power band that hits with the pipe! I ported out the manifold at the flange because the pipe was bent inward from where it’s welded onto the flange but it wasn’t that bad and isn’t necessary. As for the others that have a vino I can confirm the muffler will not hit the body panel, I heard about that being a issue with pipes that have the muffler on top but it isn’t a issue on this one, I have fully compressed the suspension and there was still some room to spare. I give it 3 stars because you shouldn’t have to modify it to work. To make it work you need a drill and a hacksaw at the minimum or use a dremel or grinder to cut. ... show more

Looks like someone used a bandsaw on the mounting plate, then tried to spot weld it back together. Other welds were very subpar.
