This particular Philips razor and accessory set really popped with good reviews, complete tools, and case. I decided to give it a try. WOW. Small but hefty, quiet, quick-charging, long-running, effective motor, ever sharp blades and excellent tools. The cut is clean in one pass, the feeling and the resulting look are precise. A terrific upgrade that is fast to use, and inspires confidence to get the beard just right. Almost fun. An unexpected HIT is the precision screen razor for trimming around lips. The mouth can be difficult to do well, but this tool is terrfic. You’ll see. The finely adjustable clipper guards are compact, feel great and work well. Pleased, pleased, pleased. This particular set had the highest rating among Philips machines, which have a deserved following.     • A PLESSURE TO USE
This shaver was a major upgrade form the cheap shaver I was using before. I was a little hesitant on purchasing since I couldn't justify spending $100 dollars on a shaver. Luckily , I was able to get on sale for $70(on prime day). After using it, it was well worth the money. PROS: - SOLID build quality. Only plastic pieces were the heads, but even those where a high quality plastic. - QUIET operation. It no longer sounds like I'm working a weed whacker in the restroom. My wife said she couldn't even hear it over the restroom ventilation running. - WATER RESISTANT. I was skeptical on using this in the shower, but it cuts just as good as dry shaving. - BATTERY LIFE. battery last awhile while on full charge. (TRY NOT TO CHARGE IT FRESH OUT OF THE SHOWER. LET IT COMPLETELY DRY. ) - ATTACHMENTS. It comes with many attachments that are easy to switch out. Although I mainly use the adjustable attachment, it's nice to know I have options. CONS: - Head durability. Although it is easy to switch heads, it makes me worried with how easy it comes off. Pulling off the head requires very little force and will sometimes come off when changing guards. Dropped it once and the head also popped off. Not a deal breaker at all, but concerns me on the longevity of the heads. - Cleaning. Cleaning this shaver isn't all too bad, it's just the hairs get caught up in the grease inside of the head and makes it a little tedious to wipe off. Overall, very solid shaver to have in your arsenal. If you can ever find this shaver on sale, I highly recommend it. If not, keep doing your research and make a decision based on your needs and wants. ... show more

I use a trimmer for my hair; shaving my head bald or for high-n-tight, as well as winter beard trimming. Nothing extravagant. However, after trying SO many cheap models i finally spent the money on this one and it is WONDERFUL. It cuts and trims great, has a lot of xtras, xtra blades for special functions, as well as great blade covers for trim and cutting length. the adjustable height items are nice and saves time and minimizes the xtra stuff in my drawer/shower. This trimmer is pretty solid. In both ability and in weight, leading to the product to feel quality. I don’t think the trimmer excels with the foil shaver but does very well with beard maintenance, lining up sideburns, and cutting hair (scalp). There’s plenty of options for everyone and it comes in a quaint travel bag. Overall 8/10. But 10/10 for the average guy looking to up his grooming routine. P.S. - My trimmer wasn’t cutting properly at first but I believe it to be bc it was over lubed. I took the head off and wiped some of it away. Worked fine after. ... show more
