If you held off on the Signe, get this! It's less bright but has a way nicer RGB gradient
Style: Floor lamp
I’ve been filling our house with Hue lights for well over a decade now, but somehow never picked up the Signe lamps. Seeing side-by-side comparisons of it vs the Play, I’m definitely happy to have gone with the latter. While the Play’s brightness is significantly lower at less than half the lumen—1040 at 4000k vs 2550 at 4000k in the Signe—for a setup focused ambiance rather than the lamp functional lighting, the Play is perfect. Both my spouse and I are gamers, so we’ve especially gone in hard on their gradient options. The Play has a beautiful, smooth transition with significantly more independently controlled lights compared to the Signe which only has a few distinct zones. Special effects on the Play floor lamp are especially lovely. My single complaint is our struggle to keep it standing with our uneven floors. Until we got it tucked away in its final spot casting a wash of color over the back wall of my studio, my spouse and I knocked it over multiple times. Good news is it’s quite sturdy and still works perfectly, haha. Overall, I’m super happy with the Play floor lamp. While its casing is less aesthetic than the Signe, the quality of the lighting is gorgeous, it paired easily, and looks perfect with the rest of our lights.

Definitely worth the splurge
Style: Floor lamp
I wasn’t aware that we were missing out by not having these included in our set up! They take mood lighting for family time to a different level. It can be relaxing or bright if we are playing a game Or doing homework. You can make them any color that you want and the use of the app comes in handy often. They are made of sturdy material so the bottom frame keeps the lights upright. Really enjoy these and want to get more in the future.

Very bright and excellent reproduction of natural light colors
Style: Floor lamp
I'm very happy that these lamps continue Philips tradition of reproducing different natural light tones. It also allows the user to select with the app many color configs which are great, but natural light is not something many lamps do properly. The lamp was definitely brighter than expected. I bought 2 of these lamps and I'm very happy with them. Easy to setup (my hub found them right away).

Perfect - Almost
Style: Floor lamp
Terrific lighting to set mood for watching TV at night. With autumn approaching and the nights getting longer, I’ve learned that proper lighting is key to preventing Seasonal Affective Disorder — at least for me. To counter this, I favor Philips LED lights that dim very low to 2200K, which Amazon sells. This floor lamp is also perfect for creating a cozy space. Favorite color setting so far is “Tokyo.” My only wish is that it would be great to have taller options, such as an 8’ high floor lamp.

Overpriced Trash full of Ads for More Expensive Philips Products, DO NOT BUY THESE!
Style: Floor lamp
These are simply an advertisement for more expensive equipment you will need to buy to get them to work the way you expect them to. Want to schedule a time for them to turn on in the App? Well, for that, you'll need the Philips Bridge ($70). Want to dim them? You'll need the Smart Dimmer ($70, or $90-$150, with two bulbs of questionable quality). Do you want to synchronize them to your TV? Well, you gotta pay up, because that will set you back $385 for the Hue Play HDMI Sync Box (8K!). Overall, these are crap, and they're just trying to sell you on more overpriced garbage that an app or simple software program could easily perform. Do not buy these, they are e-waste that should have never been made in the first place.

Good lamp but a bit wobbly.
Style: Floor lamp
The lamp is fine. I don't really care about advanced features. I just wanted something about this shape and height. It hooked into alexa easily and can change colors. The -1 star is because the lamp is so tall with such a narrow base that it is very unstable. We put ours on a flat surface but it would be even worse on carpet. I'm going to try and 3d print some sort of stabilizing base.

Hue
Style: Floor lamp
Works well and isn’t flimsy like I thought it would be since it’s plastic. It’s pretty sturdy compared to some other light bars I’ve seen we love it!
