After my other machine died & is not available any longer I decided to give this one a try. Setup was pretty easy but I did watch a couple of videos because I like visuals better than reading. I Have made several drinks & am very pleased so far. Today is the first day that I tried the milk frother. It exceeded my expectations. I have found the perfect way to make drinks. Coffee taste great & cleanup was really easy. It seems to be really durable too. There’s no leaking anywhere. For what all it can do & the ease of just pressing a button it’s definitely a value for your money. It’s a little louder than my other one but not annoying loud. Came with a 3 year warranty & that was easy to setup as well. I would highly recommend this machine.

If you are like me search the plethora of super automatic espresso makers, this one certainly will make the list. At least it made mine (sort of). I mean what is not to like? It is feature packed, small compared to other super automatics and it does make a pretty good cup. However, out of the box and brewing your first up, it’s certainly not going to be what you hoped for. For example as stated in the instructions you need to run a large number of brews through it before everything breaks in. And so I did. In fact, you can see the progress of how well it’s brewing due to the packedness and look of the brewed coffee pucks. Brewing a cup is easy, it’s pretty fast compared to others and it’s quiet too. I guess the previous model made. It more noise grinding. Here, it’s very quiet yet you still have the robotic whirring of the mechanics switching and preparing each puck. Although the love affair was short lived. This was not due to the quality of the beverage made but the result of the mess the machine made. As others reported for the 3200 model, it leaks. In fact water pours out the bottom onto the counter top and if you are not wise to this, the water lands on the floor. Now the leaking is not because the water tray is full, clogged or what have you. Rather it is from the inside of the unit during the brew cycle. And the funny thing is, the water never goes in the tray. In other words it’s coming from something further back in the unit (not the water tank either as the leaked water feels “very warm”). Lastly, the unit was not more than three weeks old, I have now returned it for a refund. I really wanted to like this, I really did. For the price point, size and beverage quality it was spot in. But to have a failure this new in its life cycle, I was not looking to risk further failures later down the road. It’s sad and hopefully this design flaw is addressed as I believe it will be a great product….. someday. If you are thinking like I did and see this as a great beverage maker, just beware of the leak because over time it seems to get worse. Yet, maybe yours will run flawlessly; who knows.

Ok this is my second unit. The first i had was a 3200. Biggest annoyance. The stickers. Oh my goodness they dont come off. It took me a couple of weeks to get the one off the water, scratching at the white goo with my thumb nail every day till it was gone leaving white crumblies all over the counter. I still dont have it off the coffee hopper. This was NOT an issue whem I had the 3200 new. Please Philips/ Saeco go back to the old removable stickers!!! Between the premade drinks Americano (3200) and iced coffee (3300).... meh. I preferred americano to be perfectly honest. But since i rarely make them any more (americanos) not much of a difference there. The 3300 has a rubber seal around the coffee hopper. This is a great addition. It does quiet the grinding significantly. However the frother makes the same noise as the old unit. Is it quiter? Yes for grinding and non-frothed coffee drinks only. I found the 3300 uses less coffee per shot and as such makes the pucks a little less dense. As such I find the coffee is weaker if ever so slightly. Since it uses less coffee to grind the pucks i simply added a shot of espresso to compensate. My shot setup is all three lights for coffee volume and one light for liquid volume. I find this unit uses less milk whem it makes the foam. Is it a lower steam pressure? Not exactly sure. Either way I run the frother twice for larger drinks. This unit uses more water than the previous version. It also didn't come with food safe grease to lube up the internal mechanism. Glad i still have some from last unit. Given the price of coffee from large northwest us based coffee companies this unit is a no brainer. Even with beans flown in from Hawaii, white chocolate syrup and lactose free milk it is still less than 50% of the cost of a daily coffee run and that is not counting gas. Paid for itself in a couple months. Totally worth it. Love this machine!!!

Was put off by some of the negitive reviews but happy I bought it. Home run. Espresso tastes great, the design is very good, easy to operate. Super silent. I've had two previous Saeco's over the past 15 years. This are now owned by Philips. Philips borrowed much of the internal design from Saeco. One of the reasons I went with Philips is that being it was similar internally, maintenance would be easier for me. Also, I had few issues with my Saeco machines, so figured why not given other top brands have about the same ratings. What you'll notice is this machine has the same internal brew system as my old Saeco from 8 years ago. But they changed about everything else ...for the better. Drop trey no longer has any wires in it, or se sort, no faulty false sensor events. Also the water is now just a pull out drawer. No more top loading or filling. Easy slick. Love it. I was resistant to get the carafe. After my fordt Saeco that was fully automatic, and every expensive, started to give me problems after a few years, all those issues were with the brother, carafe, pump systems related to it. I wanted to pair down the range of internal components that could go wrong. Well the Latte Go doesn't really have any additional internal components for this just the carafe using the built in brother pump (smae internals without the Go carafe) so I did it. The machine is super quiet. Espresso comes out HOT (big improvement from last generation). It's also very good. I don't know why people say it comes out watery. My first cup sort of did but then I adjusted the grind and the amount of water used per pull and BAM. Spot on. Maybe the very few negitive reviews just haven't found their sweet spot..and i like mine as strong as it gets...still it's smooth, strong, not harsh. Here is one negitive thing but also a silver lining. The Latte Go carafe broke on first attempted use. So much for that "fewer things to break" theory. The carafe is a genius concept but the carafe design itself is perhaps some of the worst design execution I've seen. Has a frame where you insert the container, the container has a hole at the bottom and will leak unless you clip the container into the frame just right. The hole at the bottom is suppressed by pressure. There is no functional reason to have a hole at the bottom, none. Anyhow, the plastic clip broke right off when slotting it in. I called philips support. Zero wait time, zero hassle, they were super nice and sending me a new one. I'm really hesitant about the carafe design or if it will hold up fkr a week nevermind years. However at least it's external and support appears to be stellar if it does.

Honestly, I was really concerned about this product based upon the relatively low reviews that some people gave it, but there were enough very high reviews that I figured it was worth a shot. There is no other machine I have found that is fully automatic like this that you can get for this price point I agree that the beginning coffee was very weak, but like all the post said by the 20th or so pod it is excellent espresso and makes great cappuccino. The automatic froth or is amazing so easy to clean and to put in whenever I’m done I just take it off and put it in the refrigerator. I am really thrilled with the machine I used to own a fully automatic Saeco (who Philipps purchased) it appears to be the same mechanism. Outstanding quality. Sure I wish the water reservoir was a little larger, but it’s just me and I’m really enjoying this machine and I would buy another one if I had to. I’m sipping on a triple cappuccino right now with a little caramel syrup and it is absolutely delicious. Blows away Starbucks even.

The results are great!! Nice strong espresso and regular coffee like I love it but there are a few things that take getting used to. 1st A waste of water. I use a 16/20 once cup and prior to each cup brewed at lease a 1/2 cup of water is wasted first which of course this means more frequent refills of the reservoir especially for someone who drinks as much coffee as I do. 2nd THE CLEAN UP!! The water trap & grounds dump is one thing but there seems to be grounds that wind up all inside the machine and that really takes time to get it all out. There is a part inside they say to clean once a week and that just takes a quick rinse but the amount of grounds I’ve found inside is insane. For the cost of the machine they really need to work on these issues!!

We use this machine 3 to 4 times every single day. We love the coffee that comes from it. Love the different types of coffee that you can make. And thoroughly appreciate it. You do need to keep it clean at all times do not let the machine go or it will let you go. It's that simple. Keep it clean, keep it simple, and it will work. The materials made of strong plastic. The durability is perfect. The bruise speed is fantastic. There's no leakage, and the coffee tastes absolutely fantastic. The ease of cleaning pull the drawer out. Clean the tray out clean the holder out with a spent coffee's from and you can't go wrong. You will thoroughly enjoy this machine and enjoy the types of coffees that it makes. The grindr in this thing grinds. The coffee extremely fine and makes the smell smoothest. Tasting coffee that we have ever tasted before. You do not need a Starbucks. After you use this machine, save your money

DO NOT RECOMMEND UPDATED 12/18/24 After 3 months it was leaking water where the power cord came one of the unit in the back. Phillips said to send it back and they would fix it. I requested a new unit, in advance so that I would have a coffee machine, but they refused. Returned to Amazon, who deducted $160 to restock. :( Bought a Delonghi, which cost more, but is a much better machine in MANY ways: Starts up right away, better interface, coffee tastes better. Made in china, but what can you do? Orginal review in July 24 and I take it all back. GREAT TASTING COFFEE AND Simply put, I love this expresso maker. Sure, it is expensive, but actually a good value compared to other machines on the market. I read a couple of negative reviews, which is non-sense. It is easy to use, but yah there is a learning curve, but so what, I called support and they walked me though all that I needed to know. I also read it leaks-- mine does not leak and if you get one that leaks, then return it and get another one that does not leak--it has a 2 year warranty. Lastly, it is designed in Italy and NOT made in China, which was a selling point for me as most of these machines are made in China. I wish it was made in USA, but what are you going to do?
