It came banged up in manufacturer packaging , seems nicely made ,heavy. I requested for extra packaging because if these reviews and that didnt happen. I can tell damage is from shipping ,luckily nothing that would prevent using it . Phats packaging is sub standard ,below par for a filter that costs almost $200 . Its hooked up and working , let's see if this brand lasts longer than 9mo. Would've been 4 star if it wants so banged up, I mean the top and bottom flanges were both bent beyond straightening out. Unless phat redesigns their packaging every one shipped will arrive the same way . Pre filter is crap , I can tell already at 1st washing it will pull apart, hell it already is just from putting it on , ots a shame it seems like a good product, sturdy and the skimp on protecting it with cheap packaging and cheap prefilter UPDATE 10/12/2020 The prefilter is actually working pretty good , still have to see if handles being washing out but decided to order 2 prefilters to have on hand (prefilter is the woven white about version an inch thick, not the cloth version shown in pics) imo the woven is easier on your exhaust fan than the fabric. ..OVERALL I WOULD SAY THE FILTER'S WORTH THE MONEY

This is regarding the Fhat 6X39 filter. When I opened the package with was what I found. The internal part of the filter looks ok. I was hoping the seller might see this post and give advice. I have contacted Amazon as well. I have read a few reviews of damages. I would say the packaging could be improved for the wiehht of the package .

I really enjoy this Fan. It is quiet on full speed and blows air like none other. Right now I’m using it on a 2x4 grow tent on half speed and it’s perfect. It pumps a lot of air out and will be just right for the flowering period.

These filters are great. They used to comes with the plastic straps to attach the filter, but now they come with big rubber bands that hold the pre filter on. These bands work great and they are so easy to use. Much better than the plastic bands. The Phat filters I have used have seemed to last just fine over a year. I have one that is about 1 1/2 years old and it is still working. I rotate these every few years so I always have some new ones and I have no odor issues. I highly recommend these filters.
