Features

  • IMPROVED VERSION - The workbench caster kit uses thicker steel, stronger screws, three holes on the top and the bottom of the plate, better wheels and bearings. Add rubber sleeve to protect contact part between human body and the caster, new design which is different from other Retractable Casters
  • SIMPLE OPERATION - This 4 retractable caster wheels work by simply pushing down on the pedals to raise your workbench off the floor. Once elevated you can move your bench, table or machine as desired, then lift up on the pedals to disengage and your workbench, table, cabinet, stand or machine sits firmly on the floor at its original working height.
  • DURABLE CONSTRUCTION - The heavy duty workbench wheels are constructed with durable solid steel and urethane wheels, which can smoothly move 360 degree. The wear-resistant urethane wheels is more steadier for heavy duty benches. Suitable for extensive daily use like workbe.
  • STRONG FOOT PEDAL - Each lift pedal is ribbed and textured to provide extra grip when foot pressure is applied. All the four urethane casters together can provide you a total weight capacity of 660 lbs. The workbench casters will work on workbenches, stands, tables, cabinets and lightweight machinery with flat bases.
  • Package Included - The workbench retractable casters include 4 workbench caster assemblies, all the necessary mounting hardware and instructions.

  • Great for a raised patio garden
Model: 660 lb
We got this for a 4x2 patio raised garden (from Amazon) for the back porch after we had already planted. I was worried that the bracket might be a little large and the provided screws wouldn’t be ideal for the softer wood but seems to be ok as long as I didn’t over tighten. Rolls smooth even on the rough outside concrete. Easy enough for the wife to handle by herself and very sturdy (though helps that there is a sturdy bottom shelf on the bed to keep the legs from shaking). Install was straight forward and the template has a huge help. Instructions are the greatest but very easy to figure out. ... show more

  • Tough and solid product!
Model: 920 lb
When I got it, I ran a test by mounting it on a 2x4, it worked fine. Three weeks later after I built the 2'x4' woodbench, I installed all four legs. It works very well, solid and easy to operate it. But, two comments about this product: - The installation manual is a joke, useless in one piece of paper with simple drawing. Look their product pictures, that's more detail of how to do installation. -2nd, the template is1/8" off, too short, don't follow it. Use the real plate will get the job done right. ... show more

  • One star off for poor instructions and hardware
Model: 660 lb
Once installed, these SPACEKEEPER Workbench Casters work as expected and make it very easy to move around a shop table that I just finished out of scrap wood and tempered hardboard. Like so many “some assembly required” projects, it takes you forever to finish the first [only] set of casters. If you were to do an additional ten, it would take you the same amount of time as the first project, since you know the tricks to use, and the mistakes to avoid. Please note these are to be mounted to the sides of your bench legs and not underneath the bottoms of the legs, so plan your design accordingly. In the “down” (rolling around) position, you add only ¾” to your table height (see photos). So here are my complaints and recommendations if you buy this caster set: 1. The instructions are pretty much worthless. They basically say “put together and mount on table legs.” No helpful step by step details and the included drawings (on one little square of paper) don’t match the items in the kit. Mine was labeled “upgraded version” so maybe the drawings referred to the parts in the non-upgraded version. It was frustrating trying to follow the limited (three!) steps because you have to figure out the orientation of parts that don’t look like the ones in the drawing. 2. The kit is supposed to include 4 wrenches but instead there are two stamped metal pieces with various cutouts shaped like bolt heads and nuts. I tried using them and quickly switched to real tools – much easier. 3. The instructions indicate you should assemble the caster units entirely and then mount them with the provided screws. I did that, only to find that to mount the screws in the bottom part of the bracket, you have to take the caster unit apart again to gain access to the holes (see photo). Lesson learned: attach the step-down pedal (with the red tip) to the bracket and also assemble the caster stem in the lower part of the unit (“wheel mounting plate”), but don’t attach that to the black bracket yet. Instead, locate, pre-drill pilot holes, and screw the bracket to the leg first, then attach the caster stem and lower part of the unit to the bracket. Adjust tension on the bolt and nut that hold the step-down pedal until it takes a slight push to make it go down, but not so tight it won’t easily lift up again. 4. The template would be a good thing to use to help accurately place the bracket on your bench leg if only it was the right dimension – which it’s not. It is crucial to mount these things exactly right so your table sits flat/stable when the caster wheels are “up” and rolls freely when the caster wheels are down. The problem is that the template is 1/16” too short and 3/8” too narrow to match the footprint of the black brackets. So beware. I trimmed my template correctly with a razor knife to the right size. I also elected to mount the units inside the legs so as to avoid a stumbling hazard. You may want to do likewise (see photo). 5. The screws included are complete crap and should be discarded immediately. Don’t do as I did and have three of them cam out when pressure was applied (see photo). With a fourth one, the screw head snapped off completely, leaving about 2/3 of the screw shaft irretrievably buried in the wood. When I switched to my own supply of wafer head screws (see photo), I was able to mount the brackets without issue. Once installation was completed, I was able to dance the workbench around the shop with ease. Stepping down and toe-ing up the red-tipped pedals is a snap. All-in-all, I am very satisfied and for Chinese-made parts, these are not too bad. I have another table on which I used 360-degree casters with brakes, mounted underneath the bottoms of the legs, and they are a real pain to operate. These SPACEKEEPER Workbench Casters I would recommend if you are reasonably handy. ... show more

  • Load bearing caster wheels
Model: 880lb
Very strong, very durable. Installing these are not for the novice DIY’er. Great price. Once they’re on they’re on. Very useful and practical.

  • Works great! Easy to install. Move your heavy bench with wheels.
Model: 880lb
Works great, screwed them on to the stand and step on the levers, wheels now moves down and the stand leg is off the floor. No issues and easy instructions complete with a measuring templet.

  • poor quality fastening screws
Model: 660 lb
Overall they work ok. Very poor (almost non-existent) installation instructions, but not difficult to figure out. They provide a pair of wrench type things for tightening the included nuts, but these do not account for clearance so I used my own socket wrenches (again, no problem). In driving in one of the screws, the screw either sheared or broke (photo attached). It looks like they are made from a cheap soft metal. Not a big problem, I have plenty of screws. However, this makes me wonder how well the rest of the product is constructed, and how long it is liable to last. ... show more

  • Awesome for work bench
Model: 660 lb
Worked great for my small engine work bench built with 4×4 and 1/2" plywood . Pops it right up and I can roll it where I need it then set it back on the ground for work. Bench probably weighs 200 plus lbs so a bear to drag around the shop, can push it with 1 finger now
