Top Amazon Reviews

🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

Overall, the product seems to be a durable e-bike that many buyers found enjoyable and even suited for tall and heavy riders. Most of the users are happy with the easy assembly, speed, fat tires, and bright headlight of the bike. However, some users reported weak brakes, difficulties in down-shifting, and immovable throttle.

Pros

  • 🚲 Affordable and easy to assemble
  • 🚲 Good speed and functionality, suitable for commuting
  • 🚲 Sturdy and can manage different surfaces well thanks to fat tires
  • 🚲 Comes with a bright headlight

Cons

  • 🚲 Weak brakes and shifting issues reported by some customers
  • 🚲 Some users found the battery difficult to remove and install
  • 🚲 Throttle issues reported, does not support just throttle riding

Should I Buy It?

Despite a few shortcomings, the product seems to be a decent choice for those seeking a cost-effective e-bike that provides a smooth ride and is suitable for taller and heavier riders. However, if the throttle function and sturdy brakes are a necessity for you, it's advisable to explore other options.

  • Great bike so far!
Style: 26"*4.0(orange)
Edit: Throttle does work but only on “0” and barely moves you. Not sure what purpose this serves! This thing is a beast! After doing some research and trying to make decision and trying to find a good entry level bike I purchased the Pexmor 26” fat tire. It was shipped trough Fed ex and I was a little worried with some damage to the box. I considered purchasing the $120 professional assembly but found my bike shop did it for me for $80 so check around first. Everything was fine by the way. Now about the bike! Like I said it is a beast! Big, and powerful. My wife bought a Swagtron 26” bike with reg. tires and she is on 3 while I am on 1 setting. Only had the bike a few days so will edit review if I need too. Pros:seems well built and solid Powerful and fast Front suspension horn and light Great price Cons: heavy Fenders need more support Display is hard to figure out to adjust settings Battery is tricky to put back on ... show more

  • I do not recommend it, defective product, heavy bike and it is almost impossible to return
Style: 26"*4.0(red)
Before buying this bike you should keep in mind that it is almost impossible to return, no shipping company wanted to receive it, we tried ups, usps and finally FedEx where there is only one branch that accepted shipments with lithium batteries, however the cost of shipping from NY to NJ for this bike is 300 dollars something absurd, the bike is too heavy for a woman, the light seems to be poorly connected because it loses power and had too many scratches for this reason I wanted to return it but the seller's response it was null, in the Amazon support they gave me wrong information and sent me to places where I wasted my time, this is a private seller it is not directly Amazon who sells the product and since it is such a large package nobody wants to deal with the return all they send you to other parts, it will be a long and very expensive journey to return it because it is you who must cover the return costs. The bike is far from being what I wanted to buy and it has many defects but now I can't return it so I will have to figure out what to do with it, I recommend that you think very well and evaluate these return factors before making this purchase because yes it comes defective like mine they will not be able to return it easily. ... show more

  • Awesome bike, great components, exceptional value!
Style: 27.5"(orange)
Having used this bike for a couple weeks, I’m very impressed with the operation and build quality. Aluminum frame, Shimano Tourney 3 x 7 (21 speed) drivetrain, mechanical disk brakes, built in headlight, and a very high capacity 48v 13ah Hailong battery (over 600 watt hours)! While the bike was mostly assembled, the instructions were terrible, so final assembly was the only drawback. This is also the first bike I’ve had with mechanical disk brakes so that took time to get dialed in. But the end product, simply amazing and nothing else at this price point comes close! Multiple levels of pedal assist, and responsive throttle on demand. Smooth ride, a nice pair of Kenda tires. 20mph top speed with default settings. Couldn’t even tell you the max range because I’ve barely even used half a charge despite many miles on it. Fantastic job to Pexmor putting together this awesome bike! ... show more

  • 50 Miles On...Good Bike........*Not So Good Company*
Style: 26"*4.0(orange)
**I'll continue to Update this post as I ride, and work on my bike!** 5/9/23- Been Waiting Aprox. 2 Weeks to get an email back from support. Still haven't gotten any word back. Pexmor company doesn't seem to have good/any online support. Don't expect to get anything fixed with the warranty or any answers for questions. I'll start off with the Pros and Cons then to my review (Any new edits I'll post before this) Pros- Not terribly expensive, Good speed, Fat Tires, Easy Assembly, Bright headlight (not very wide beam just bright), Looks nice as well. Cons- Battery removal/install is a pain but gets easier as you live with it, Pexmor Support email is dead.....No replys in weeks from my 3 emails **Personal gripe...only 7 speed. Only has one front crank (its fine just with pedal assist on 7th gear you'll be ghost pedaling a lot. Be nicer to have more gears) Overall the bike is great for the price (got it at 609. If its cheaper I'd pull the trigger on it). I got it with intentions of commuting to work and back and so far its great! I do a bit of off-roading on grass/dirt and it takes it pretty good thanks to the fat tires and front suspension. As for on-road riding its nice and smooth, can be a little load when going full throttle motor is a bit noisy getting up to speed but, it could just be my unit. I'm 6'4 and weight 250 and it hit's ~21MPH on throttle only and can go over 25MPH on Pedal Assist before I start ghost pedaling (only has 7 gears with one front crank). **Removed the speed limiter and it still tops out at 21MPH on throttle only with my friend thats 5'6 140lbs...battery can't output the power to the motor to do anymore) Seat is alright but, I'd upgrade if you want more comfort, I also did buy a spare battery so I have two on longer rides. Here's a link for one that I got and works! **Be Sure when buying a new battery to make sure its a 48V but it can be a higher Ah for more stored power** Overall I give the bike a 7/10. Wish it had more options like more gears, better battery, higher watt motor, however if I wanted that I could have looked else where, and for the price of 600 or less you can't beat it! https://www.amazon.com/ENGWE-Battery-Electric-Lithium-Bicycles/dp/B09FJSXVXN/ref=sr_1_5?crid=SVJB2JWAK2S0&keywords=PEXMOR%2B48v%2Bbattery&qid=1682550697&sprefix=pexmor%2B48v%2Bbattery%2Caps%2C102&sr=8-5&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.f5122f16-c3e8-4386-bf32-63e904010ad0&th=1 ... show more

  • Hands-down, the best e-mountain bike, entry-level that you can get
Style: 26"*4.0(red)
I had never owned bike, and I was pleasantly surprised when I received this I am a camp post for BLM and live near the Alabama hills in Southern California near death Valley and I have put on 60 miles on this bike in three days. it holds up all right but if you want to do really heavy, hard-core mountain biking, you might want to go up one in quality as the battery tends to come off if you’re really washboard or bouncy dirt roads. It was in that if you’re not trying to hard-core mountain bike race, this is a great entry-level bike. ... show more
