Pros, efficient, powerful, comes with (2) props 2 blade and 3 blade you can use as a backup. Cons, doesn't come with alligator clamps, the battery meter doesn't start to indicate anything untill my battery is down below 12.5 volts. The feet on the mounting screws will fall off, mine was rattling around in the box when I received it. Will occasionally run on high when turning from off position to #1 speed forward position. I know that sounds like a lot of cons but this thing is inexpensive in comparison to name brand trollers and it gets the job done. I have it on a 12' Jon boat. With a $100 group 29 everstart deep cycle battery from Walmart it will travel a little over 2 miles in fair weather conditions. My typical fishing excursions are 4 hrs long, working the banks of a 185 acre lake. I'm very happy with it for what I use it for.

The inflatable dinghy I had a couple of years ago gave up the ghost, and I gave the motor (28 pounds thrust) to my neighbor at the marina. When I got a new dinghy this year, I bought this motor and the extra power it has makes a huge difference! (At maximum thrust, it actually leaves a wake!) I also like the feature that shows how much charge is left on the battery. Very pleased with the purchase.

I purchased this trolling motor to use with my intex excursion 5. I thought this motor would do the job PLUS give me a little more power being 46lb thrust. You get what you PAY for! This motor vibrated so bad past fwd speed 2 and reverse speed 1, I reached out to amazon to return item after THE FIRST USE. The seller refused to pay for shipping which he was obligated to pay also refused to accept the item back even after a full refund was determined. The fact the seller ddidnt even want the item returned lets you know its trash. Buy at your own RISK!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Buy a MK and pay more $ its worth it in the long run.
