I've used it about 20 times since purchase. Has not let me down what so ever. Moves my 12ft mod v with ease even against wind. I can fish all weekend at the lake with a 100ah lifepo4 . Had this out for the first time today. I was pleased with the fit and finish of this trolling motor. I purchased the 46 pound thrust, and i'm glad I did not go any smaller for a twelve foot flat bottomed kayak, weighing ninety five pounds unloaded. All gears work fine. Was especially happy with the tiller extension, which made all the difference in the world on a side mounted motor. Good value for the money. When compared with domestic products.

I needed a very basic motor for my inflatable kayak and this did a great job. I created a simple mount for it and it worked great. All full speed it pushed me into the wind at 4 kts. The leads were fairly short and my battery was far away, but cutting them and soldering on an adapter for the battery wires was very quick. Price can't be beat. It was cheaper than a 100 ah battery.

Pros, efficient, powerful, comes with (2) props 2 blade and 3 blade you can use as a backup. Cons, doesn't come with alligator clamps, the battery meter doesn't start to indicate anything untill my battery is down below 12.5 volts. The feet on the mounting screws will fall off, mine was rattling around in the box when I received it. Will occasionally run on high when turning from off position to #1 speed forward position. I know that sounds like a lot of cons but this thing is inexpensive in comparison to name brand trollers and it gets the job done. I have it on a 12' Jon boat. With a $100 group 29 everstart deep cycle battery from Walmart it will travel a little over 2 miles in fair weather conditions. My typical fishing excursions are 4 hrs long, working the banks of a 185 acre lake. I'm very happy with it for what I use it for.

Haven’t had it on the water yet but upon installation I realized there’s no way to turn the battery indicator light off so you either have to spend another $40 on a shutoff switch and wire it in or just unhook it from the battery after every use. Very stupid design.
