I bought this motor in the Spring of 2024 and it worked like a charm. I use it on my 14 foot jon boat and with two 200lb adults its top speed is 15 mph. By myself it will top 20 mph. I replaced my 6 hp Hangkai motor looking for more speed and this one fit the bill. I followed the break in instruction to the letter and have no problems with it. The media could not be loaded. Purchased this for our 10' blow up boat. It arrived quicker than expected. Accessories and manuals are good quality. Broke the engine in for two hours @1/4 throttle before getting it on the lake. Boy did this engine hum. We could really cruse around. Only toped full throttle for 30 seconds or so for the video. Have more break in time at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle. Started on the 3rd pull in the lake. Not to heavy to carry for this 62yr old man. Would purchase again! ... show more
