Efficient motor, good run time, plenty of power. Paired up with Livescope, and various screens you get a lot of functionality, mapping good fishing spots, and handsfree fishing. But... i feel like its a little overpriced. The Spot lock isnt the best ive used. ive calibrated it a dozen times already and i get about a 20 foot drift off the mark. the performance is on par with other units, that are hundreds less. ... show more

    • Impressive motor and transducer. Far superior to my previous Terrova or Ulterra.
I would give the Force five stars, except that it had a factory defect and the shaft had to be replaced. However, Garmin support does get five stars for immediately replacing it overnight entirely at their cost.

This is perfect if you hate steering your trolling motor. Powerful, the autopilot is second to none, active captin app makes this thing a force of nature! I have a 3500 pound boat unloaded and this moved it with ease. It is nearly silent unless you put it on full speed. This goes easy in the batteries from what I can tell, I have it hooked up to 2 sets of 12v lithium batteries and have not found the bottom of the life yet even after fishing all day. Needs a little longer power cord. Needed to have my batteries mid ship and if main power cord would have been a little longer it would have been helpful. Every thing there, and looks great. Haven’t got to use it yet.

Packaging was real good.Took my time configuring unit location on my boat.Love the gas shocks for easy deployment.Glad I ordered 57" shaft. Can't wait to get it in the water.Can always raise the shaft if needed.

Would have gave in 5 stars but it didnt work out of the box. Garmin support was great next day air another to the house. we will see how this one works.
