These shades do the trick, but aesthetically they don’t look very nice. I bought them to put under the permanent blinds in my bedroom in case I want to use my projector during the day :) my permanent blinds let a little too much light in. So I stuck these above the inside of my window frame with some painters tape so I don’t rip the paint off when taking them down. It was very easy to install besides fighting with the rod for a bit. Unfortunately, for the life of me I cannot figure out how to get them to stay up, and even if it was easy, rolling it up takes a while so I will be returning them. They would be great if I didn’t care about opening the shades and wanted to leave the blackout on 24/7. I’m going to try a different pair of blackout shades that have a pulley system already in them and a no-drill tension rod so I can still fit them inside of my window under the regular blinds.

I would give this zero stars if I could. The roller shade will not stay up no matter what and it is a cheap plastic sheet basically. It does keep some light out but not worth the price.

these work for what I wanted, two look the same the third one is black on the end and not silver at the bottom like the other two. but for what I wanted them for they are fine for now. just hope the sticky stays. if not, I have something else that will work. pretty generic, just plastic, but they work for me right now.
