I bought this carrier for my two netherland dwarf bunnies for a long car ride, and didn't wan them to be super cramped in a tiny carrier the whole ride. The expandable sections are excellent and super easy to set up. It gave the bunnies three times the space. They were able to lay down and relax. Easy to use and set up, definitely recommend for smaller pets.

I purchased this cat carrier specifically for a new kitten that I was picking up out of state. The fold-out extensions worked out wonderfully well for back-seat car travel, as they comfortably accommodated a travel-sized rectangular litter box and a water dish for the 400-mile drive home. While not horrible, I upgraded the pad that came with the carrier for a more luxurious, padded one. At the time of purchase, about a year ago, this carrier was advertised for cats up to 15 lbs (now the description states 18 lbs., even though the dimensions are the same). Well, my kitten just turned one and now weighs just over 11 lbs., and he can no longer fit comfortably in the carrier. It's quite tight in the main compartment (extensions closed), which is where your pet must remain when being transported from one place to another, such as from home to a vet's office. My cat no longer has room to straighten up or adjust himself. So, while the carrier is well made and aesthetically a step-up from most others, I would pass on this one if you want your pet to use it beyond the first year. If he/she will stay under 10 pounds, go for it!

This carrier was perfect for getting my kitten home across the country on a plane. It fit under one of my seats better than another. But I was able to open up a side and the cat had double the room in the plane and resting in the airports, we had it open in all sides. He loved it!!! Great carrier, highly suggest.

I purchased this carrier to fly with my two toy poodles(7lb & 5lb) with Allegiant. When I was at the airport I opened both sides for the dogs to have more room then closed the sides when we boarded the plane and for take off. It mostly fit under the seat in front of me. Once we were in the air I opened one side compartment for them to move around more. I’m happy I found this bag and they both fit in it perfect. They love to snuggle and I think they did better flying bc they were in the carrier together rather than in separate ones. They scratched the mesh but were not able to tear it. I brought. Small “blanket” to cover the bag when it the sides were expanded bc my dogs are very social so it helped for them not to be so distracted and hyper. Pics are on Allegiant.

We traveled from overseas to the US with two cats in these. Fits under the seat (have to squish it down just a tad for take off) but we were able to open one size out during the flight in the feet area to give them more space and then open both sides in the airport during layovers/waiting to board. Lots of air going through to keep them cool.

I have not flown since I purchased due to pandemic. This carrier is sturdy and well made. I bought this because I can fit both cats in it if needed. Not to carry as they would weigh more than 15 pounds together. I am so glad I didn't buy one of the other carriers. The square "pop out" sides on this are large enough for the cats, a domed side seems like it would be worthless. I keep this carrier open all the time. Both cats love playing and sleeping in it. I use it to transport them to veterinarian etc. I did have to evacuate the house once, only put one cat in each carrier to get them out of the house. It was great for the cat in this carrier when I expanded it for her. The other cat was stuck in the regular size carrier, she was not so happy. I like that I could put them in there together as they love to snuggle.

This pet travel bag was perfect for our dog. Dog is an adult 16 lb lean mixed breed. I was nervous to travel for the first time with him. I had him sleep in the bag with extensions out for a week before we flew. We flew Southwest and it was not an issue at all. My dog went in with a treat and laid down most of the time. I sat in the middle seat for 3 flights and the bag was snug but passed the flight attendants’ eyes. After take off, I opened one of the extensions for air. I couldn’t put my feet down in front of me, but that was ok bc I had my family on my left and right. My dog slept in the bag with extensions out throughout my trip. He didn’t mind it at all!
