I wasn’t sure if I was feeding my cat correct portions and would fill my cats bowl when it was empty which would throw her off if we weren’t consistent with a feeding schedule and always had to wonder if I remembered to check if there was food in her bowl. This makes everything super easy but overall had purchased it if I left town for a few days. Operates on a plug and has batteries for backup that will let you know if the batteries are dying. Been a few months now and have had 0 issues. I’m able to schedule multiple feeding times and set exact portions for each feeding. Definitely recommend! It’s fun to watch my cat run when she hears the food dispense. Would recommend! I believe there are also other upgraded versions that include app accessibility / cameras which I wish I had gotten instead.

Have only used it for a few days so far but it works well. I've been going away more than normal so figured this works be a good solution for my cat. The set up took about 5 min for me it is very basic. I ended up doing breakfast small lunch snack and dinner. There are 6 total meal slots so for the ones you don't want to use just set to 0 amount. My cat eats 1/2 cup of kibble per day and I found that 2 portions from the feeder is a little less than 1/4 cup. So I have it set to 2 portions am/pm and 1 portion for lunch which equals just about 1/2cup total. It seems very sturdy and would be pretty much impossible for a cat to break into it. My cat was a little afraid at first but she took to it pretty quickly i made sure to set it up prior to going away so she could get used to it. I don't plan on using this all the time for now, just when I'll be going on short trips.

I needed to get my cat back on a schedule, and I didn't want to be inconvenienced in the morning by changing her food and water bowls before work. As many reviews said, setting up the times to dispense the kibble will appear confusing, but once you've got it, it is straightforward. It dispenses food up to 6 times a day, at the times you choose, allowing how much food will be dispensed. It took a day or 2 for my cat to adjust. Now she runs where she hears her kibble hit the bowl. Bonus points because the bowl is metal and can easily detach for cleaning. Overall I have had no issues and would recommend this feeder for someone like myself. Work smarter not harder lol.

It works every time , on time. I wish I got the one with a camera! This feeder makes feeding very simple when you use the app to schedule feeding times and your animals will know too because you can pre record your voice and use it as a feeding call ! Amazing device 😁 Get two if you have more than one cat by the way , they may try to steal each others food if they do not have their own feeder 👍👍

I purchased this in Jan 2023 and we’ve have it almost 2 years. It was easy to set up and program. Its still looks and works like it’s brand new. It’s very dependable and has never failed us. We use batteries only because of the location we have it in the house, and it really conserves power. In fact, it still has the original batteries we put in it day 1, which is hard to believe but it’s true. This was a great purchase.

This was our second try at an automatic feeder for our dogs. We got 2, one for each dog. The previous brand we got started clogging in the first week so we were concerned. I read a lot of reviews on multiple platforms before deciding on this one. We have only had one of these clog once and I think that may have been my fault. We have 2 50+ lb dogs and we were able to put enough food in the large feeders to last 8 days while we were on a trip. It should have lasted 10 days as it is said to hold 20 cups and the dogs were each getting just under a cup of food twice a day but it ran out of food after 16 meals. We had changed to small dog kibble because the previous feeders couldn't handle the regular kibble we used which is not nearly as big as the max size claimed to be able to handle. We are in the process of switching back to the regular kibble now since these are working so well. We will see if that continues. We normally feed our dogs the Kirkland Signature Nature's Own Salmon and Sweet Potato which I think is 12mm sized but switched to the small dog chicken and rice. I love the fact that it tells me when the food backs up in the opening and when the grainary low on food. Those are really helpful notifications. It is annoying that the desiccant only lasts 14 days. Not sure why that is. Our previous one had a camera which it turned out wasn't as helpful as we thought since you can't see their food bowls to determine if they have eaten or not just the tops of their heads while they are eating. So we got a lightbulb camera and hung it above their crates. We can see when they are eating or not with it. Yes, our dogs are crated for meals. They are actually pretty funny as they won't go into their crates to eat if we are home until we go with them. So this hasn't eliminated the need to get up at 6am to feed the dogs. It just means it is faster to deal with and takes less early morning brain power. It has become my morning alarm as their bowls and crates are just in the next room from my bedroom and I can clearly hear them when the food drops into the bowls. We removed the metal bowls and just use the plastic bowl because the metal bowl was too noisy for one dog and too small for the other. One thing different about this feeder is it gives you the amount in parts of a cup instead of weight. It does let you feed all at once or you can break it up into multiple smaller amounts. So far this has been great. Once we get the food switched over to the regular kibble if we have any problems I will come back and report on it.
