PETG filaments can be processed over a wider processing range than conventional PET filaments . Wide Application PETG filament is unique in that it is available in transparent colors, which are useful for builds like lampshades and vases. High Flexibility PETG filament is more flexible than PLA or ABS, but also a little softer. You’d have a hard job breaking it in half. Read more Why can't the 3D printer filaments stick to the build bed? 1. You need to apply a thin layer of tick glue to the print platform. 2.Check the temperature setting before printing. 3.It is recommended to re-level the print substrate to reduce the distance between the nozzle and the surface plate. Care Instructions Please store 3D printer filament in a cool dry place. PETG filament, if exposed to moisture, will bubble and spurt from the extruding nozzle.PETG filament can be dried from a food dehydrator, oven, or from any source of hot air.

  • Sludgy stuff
Color: White
To get good layer bonding, I had to run this on the hot side, which greatly decreased it's maximum flow rate. It flows well enough to handle 50mm/s at around 230 but the layer adhesion is too poor at that temperature. The bonding improves at around 250 but at that point the viscosity increases quite a bit and the print has to run at around 30mm/s at most or it will skip even with a very strong extruder motor and underextrude through a standard 0.4mm nozzle. Requires a hotter bed than most PETG I've worked with; around 75 to grab firm to glue on glass. I can't recommend it; though the price is nice there are at present similarly priced alternatives that perform much better; eg yousu. ... show more

  • Great PETg Filament at an incredible price.
I switched to Petg from PLA a few months ago, and haven't looked back. I tried Hatchbox, which was my favorite PLA filament, but had trouble with their Petg. I have bought 2 rolls of Overture, but have actually had a few minor tangles on the roll that have lead to print failure on both rolls. And then I tried Nova Maker. The Nova Maker filament is about the same quality as the Overture, but it seems to be rolled onto the spool better. The Prints have come out great, and the translucent blue is probably my favorite color of filament to date. I was skeptical because the price was so good, but I have already used up the whole roll and have had no complaints, so I have purchased 2 more (that I won't open until I run out of the remaining Overture I have on the printer now. I use the Creality Ender 3 (v1) with a Microswiss all metal hotend and direct drive. I included a photo of a painted and assembled print made with this filament. ... show more

Color: Green
I can't get this filament to print without stringing no matter what temp, speed, or bed temp I set. First layer goes down well....all other layers are a ball of string. Totally crap. Update 3 23 2021: I have the temp down to 220. Bed at 70. Speed at 50mm/s. Retraction at 6mm and 25mm/s. First layer again still goes down GREAT on glass with some magigoo. However, the stringing problem continues even at 220 and I have to very closely baby sit every single minute of every single print otherwise it globs up around my print nozzle and causes obvious problems - burns, more stringing, etc. Some may say this isn't a big deal and common with PETG, but I argue that if I have to babysit the filament, it's no longer useful to me. I would say get it if you're just learning and on a budget - great for that, but uh...not really recommendable long term. ... show more

  • Can't Recommend
Color: Black
You have a lot of options. Unless you like baby-sitting your prints I can't recommend this filament. I bought two rolls. One is fine, the other is a tangled mess . There are entire layers of the spool that I can barely unroll by hand because filament is wound so tightly on top of the loose end. To use this roll, I have to grab the spool, walk it across the room and carefully roll it back up tangle-free by hand, then repeat this occasionally throughout the print. I'm inclined to just throw it away but that feels wasteful and I keep hoping that I'll get past the tangles and everything will be good... hasn't happened yet... ... show more

  • More translucent than I'd like
Is more translucent than the Sunlu I've been using (Yes, i know PETG is translucent, but this is considerably more so). Also wants ~10C+ more. Haven't printed with it yet, but will soon, and will update after about 1/2 a spool. Overall I'm diggin' on the PETG. PETG perks: A bit more versatile than PLA, and less stinky than ABS (I cut my teeth on ABS and printed exclusively ABS for years.) Works better in hotter environments (inside a car, outside in the sun) Flexible (Great for 'clips' type things) Still reasonably safe with a Capricorn tube (PTFE can squeak by for a little while) Kinda slick. Not a UHMW, Nylon, PTFE, but not horrible Downsides: Has that wet look (can takeaway from detail, especially in a photo) Is kinda translucent. Runs at a higher temp (bed and hot end) Can stick TOO good to the print surface (only use glass and hairspray/glue stick here) ... show more

  • Prints okay, very poorly wound
I'm using this in a Sidewinder X1. It prints... okay. Not remarkable. I wish it was a little more translucent when it printed. But the big issue is that the wrap around the spool was very sloppy when I took it out of the box. I went ahead and fed it into my machine and started a 14 hour long print. I wake up, it's barely halfway printed, but the printer says it's done. I look at the spool, and there was a big knot/tangle on the spool. Decent filament, but they need to do a better job spooling the filament. ... show more

  • Unbelievably impressive
Color: Green
The media could not be loaded. Was planning to print parts for a second printer, and my regular supplier did not have their normal supply of neon green filament. My printer arrives on Wednesday, and I want to get the parts printed before it arrives so I can put it together. I was very concerned when people had trouble with this filament. This filament has done nothing but print perfectly, like butter. Layer strength and adhesion is on par with the normally high-quality filament I use. I will definitely be ordering this again because of its gorgeous color and glowing characteristics. If you're on the fence about purchasing this filament, don't be. My printer is well dialed in, and I found zero issues printing with with it. Please see video and pics for temp settings. I'm just thrilled with how it all came out. ... show more

  • Nova Marker Blue PETG
The filament is a great color bright blue and almost see through. You can just barely see the infill through the top layers of the print depending on your model. Would work great if lite from inside as a lamp or visual effect. The only reason I didn't give it 5 star is I've had issues with stringing on my base layer but don't seem to once it gets to the higher levels, granted this could be user error but don't have it on other filaments. Heat range on roll shows 220-260 and I've printed it in the 235 to 245 range. ... show more
