I thought I’d use the cable ports, but I never did. The little battery pack I bought failed me inside… can’t wait to write that review. This backpack worked great through multiple airports on international holiday travel. It was a little tight under the seat for flights. it was comfortable to wear; the straps never dug in, my back didn’t get heat overheated, It didn’t stress out my shoulders, and actually felt pretty balanced. Once on, I didn’t think much about it. I could carry everything I needed including a full-size laptop. It felt safe from grabby hands and weather.     • Really nice but with flaws

Really like the look and size of the backpack. It is quite sturdy and well padded and the blue color is spot on with my blue Samsonite Silhouette 17 suitcase. It is like they were made to match. It’s super modern in appearance and uses strong zippers and has thoughtful well designed shoulder straps. It’s also very roomy. It could use improvements though. The most glaring omission is the lock. They only put one on it and it’s only protecting the main pocket. At the price point, it would have been okay had the zipper pulls for the other compartments not had the solid zipper pulls. Because of this, if you do want to lock those openings, you will need to buy normal padlock type TSA locks which can be fastened through the hole in the pulls near their base. Had they used the same zipper pull as the the main compartment, you could have bought more of the built in type TSA locks they use on the main pocket. The other thing I would like to see addressed in a future version is the lining, especially inside the main pocket. It looks and feels nice and seems to be durable. The problem is how it’s fastened inside of the case. It’s not in any real way which means it looks kind of billowy. I could see where smaller items inside the pockets could get easily lost in there. They really need to secure it in there better on a future update. It wouldn’t hurt for the battery pocket to be a little larger and deeper also. Other than that, the bag definitely punches above its pay grade. For the most part it feels like it’s of similar quality to my smaller Tumi bag and that’s pretty high praise. ... show more

Locks the big compartment but the notebook / tablet pocket isn't lockable. Overall it's an OK design not much to it and it's a little clunky once it's filled all the way up.
