  • These work great on my Ender 3 V2 Neo
Color: 0.25kg*8-8 Colors
This is the second set of SunLu filaments I've used and have had very good luck with them. I have both PETG and PLA with no issues so far. That being said, my printer and filament are kept between 68 and 70 degrees fahrenheit in the room I have them in. So this may be a big contributing factor for getting good consistent print results with no moisture or filament issues. I've found that on this printer running the nozzle temp at 225C and the bed at 60C gives me great results, even switching between PLA and PETG. I've had zero tangling issues or feed problems. When I change filaments, I change them when the nozzle is fully heated for at least a minute, then I release the feed wheel and pull the filament back to clear nozzle and tube. I then immediately put in the new filament and push it through by hand until that color is coming out of the nozzle. Next, I cut the filament I just removed, back to just prior to the feed wheel. I've found that what is beyond the feed wheel in the tube has been imprinted on by it and is out of round, making it difficult to use that first foot a second time, so I cut it back and have had no feed issues that way. ... show more

  • Nice filament for functional print. Use temp tower to find best temp, use 230-185 range
Color: Black
Good filament for functional prints, great bed and layer adhesion. Applicable for fast prints (80-100 mm/s, starting from first layer), good bridge quality. But need to find correct temperature for each color, otherwise stringing is crazy. Use PLA ranges (230-185), instead of PETG. I happened to buy black and blue spools of this filament and test it with the same prints multiple times. Here are my conclusion: 1. Temperature is different for each color. For me, it was 215°C for blue and 195°C for black. Otherwise, a lot of stringing and buildups. Use PLA Temp Tower (230-185°C) to find the best. Any temp higher than 220°C will be terrible. 2. Great bed and layer adhesion - I can print anything on fastest settings my printer can do (100mm/s in my case), no problems at all, except very little stringing. 3. Filament is cheap and prints are sturdy. Applicable for mass functional printing. Aesthetics is not that great compared to some other filaments that I tested, but functionality is great. Again, need to find correct temperature. 4. Thin prints (like, 0.8 mm thickness) are slightly more brittle than regular PETG. Considering great bed adhesion, remove completed prints carefully, I broke couple of them. Thick prints are as sturdy as regular PETG. ... show more

  • Working good for me on Ender 3 S1 Plus
Done several prints with this so far and it's been printing nicely. I pretty much used up a spool in 2 days, so no telling what it would be like if it set for a while, but I do have a dryer as well which I usually put spools in that i know I'll be using soon. So far though, the prints have turned out nice and adhere to the bed very well. The support material does seem to be a little harder to remove, but just a little harder. It still comes off just fine. For the price of the 2 packs, I'll keep buying this brand. If it ends up going up, then I'll switch to the other filament that I've been using. So for the price of the 2 packs, these can't be beat. I just wish they would offer the 2 packs in any color combination. ... show more

  • Goods starter pack for someone with a new 3D printer
Color: 0.25kg*8-8 Colors
I bought one of these to test out my Ankermake M5 printer and everything printed pretty smoothly. The packaging was great and each spool was vacuumed and sealed with a moisture absorption packet which helped with the print quality. It also came with a chart that explained the temperature settings for the nozzle and bed for all the filament types out there. One thing to note is that the yellow color is more like fluorescent yellow rather than traditional yellow. ... show more

  • Creality Ender 3 S1 Pro
Color: Black
This filament was amazing. Not right of the box but after a few tweaks this is by far the best filament I’ve used. Granted I’m new to 3D printing and my only experience is this and the test filament I got with printer. It’s a bit stringy but not bad. In my opinion it printed just as well as the PLA the printer came with. I learned to use a brim to help bed adhesion. Nozzle @245 Bed @80 ... show more

Color: Black
Inexpensive Filament and Decent Quality. I’ve used this and other colors by Sunlu and haven’t had any problems. I had best results at 220-225*.

  • For those starting to make props, easy recommendation.
Using an Ender 3 s1. Definitely would recommend for someone's first PETG. - Gentle on a build plate - very solid items I can easily recommend this filament for props for it's durability, and detail. You can make 2 inch mini figures, but definitely build them in pieces and not whole. Thin areas like the neck can easily break due simply trying to remove a wrapping support. ... show more
