Wonderful soothing Oatmeal Shampoo! Very very happy I purchased this! I was using a different brand of oatmeal shampoo and had run out, after viewing many reviews on Amazon about this shampoo I decided to purchase it and give it a try. The shampoo provided immediate relief to my Chihuahuas skin and made her coat look beautiful! We had moved into a new home and it is more located in a wooded area as to where we used to live before. Since moving in, we have noticed that there are a lot more different types of bugs around than we ever had to deal with before. There have been a lot of spiders in the house and other little little pests like mosquitos. Our neighbor told us that is just how it is in this part of Florida. So, we have been working on trying to keep the insects at bay. But, every now and again we will get bit from a spider or mosquito. When we first moved in we all had lots of spiders bites and that included our dog. I purchased a few things to help our girl with her skin and glad this shampoo was one of them. This shampoo has a great lather to it so, a little goes a long way. It smells just wonderful! It smells like a hint of coconuts to me but, it is not overpowering and not perfumey. Just a good, clean smell. First, I get her long fur wet the, I apply the shampoo to a nice lather and give her a few minute massage. I let the shampoo stay on her for at least 5 minutes and the whole time I am rubbing it in and massaging her. Then I rinse her off and all of the shampoo comes off very easily with no residue left behind. Because of her long hair I need to use a conditioner that is also made out of oatmeal. Once I rinse the shampoo off of her coat she feels very soft and silky and her fur is not coarse or matted in any way. This would be really good for a short hair dog if you did not need to use a conditioner. After her bath, her skin is no longer irritated and the hot spots look a lot better. I am impressed how well she feels and looks afterwards. I really love this shampoo and would recommend it to any dog owners that have dogs with sensitive skin or irritated skin. This shampoo really helps improve these issues and also leaves their coat beautiful. Very happy customer!

We liked this gentle shampoo for our Labrador Retriever. It's not too perfumey which is good, and doesn't seem to sting her eyes or anything. Would buy again!

I ordered this because my dog has sensitive skin and has a tendency to get dandruff. It has really helped with that and his fur is very nice after using it. My only disappointment with it is that although the smell is pleasant when using, he doesn't have any scent on him within a short time of bathing him. That's probably good but I like my dog to smell "shampooed". Maybe I'll look into some kind of pet perfume. I would recommend this product because it cleans and leaves your pets fur and skin very clean and healthy. I almost forgot...the bottle came very sticky like the glue they used to stick the label on was on top of the label as well. That's annoying and won't wipe off. I fixed that by covering the outside of the bottle with clear packaging tape.

It does what it says. Calms the skin down, and has hardly any scent. Very grateful for that, with allergies/sensitivities to scents! My dogs coats are so soft and shiny with this. Love this product and highly recommend. Where we board our dogs recommend this also, as they use it there too on all the dogs.

I had some issues of my dog scratching himself silly. Nothing that requires a vet visit, but enough to gradually wear down his clothes that I've sewn for my dog. It bugged me so I did some research. I cut down on the things that could cause him allergies, gave him some topical flea meds, and then I got this shampoo to tackle dry skin. The smell of the shampoo is mild but smells nice. I love it. I also love how it doesn't contain soap so it won't take off the flea medication nor does it strip his body of oils. It cleans him, moisturizes him. He feels better, I feel better, his clothes are in one piece. I don't have to worry about bathing him often because it doesn't dry his skin. I bathe him about twice a week during the summer days.

My dog Luna gets flea dirt/bite allergies. As well as changing of the season ones too. She chews herself like mad and scratches. I usually see big flakes like dandruff coming off of her back. I will say I was nervous that the shampoo was gonna make her itch and break out like the last one I bought did. I even had an issue with that shampoo on my hands and forearms. So I tried it on me first too see if I reacted to it. Then used it on her and had no problems. It left her coat super soft and shiney. It also soothed her itchy areas. i would recommend this product.

It’s ok My dog gets a bath once a week and it does not dry her out! I alternate with diluted dawn dish soap for fleas. This does not smell that great to me do it’s just ok.

I wash my cats typically once a week. I've used many brands of wash, always cat safe. One of my cats barfs up an enormous, couch-sized hairball (or so it seems) after every shower. But since I've started using this one, he has not barfed a single time. I've used it probably 5 times now, so it wasn't just a fluke. Not a single hairball and nothing else has changed. I don't know what kind of magic is in this bottle, but I'll be using it from now on. *Side note: A couple of weeks ago some of us humans in my family got Covid. Then I found out that cats can get it, too. (After one of them starting sneezing, sniffing and coughing. What?!) 2 of my 3 cats got Covid. And even with that, no hairballs.
