I love this. It works so well.I ordered a second one. When my dog has an itchy hotspot, this helps a lot. It's a decent amount, and it lasts a while. It's easy to spray. No real greasy feeling or anything. That seems to absorb pretty well. The ingredients are simple with hydrocortisone being the second one of only 3. I didn't notice any smell either.     • Hot spot prevention
This spray helps prevent hot spots in my dog who is prone to them. She often gets them in the same area, and when she starts licking and scratching I know it's time to spray. I try to be consistent spraying the area once or twice a day. She has a thick coat (golden retriever) so after I spray I try to make sure to massage it in so it gets to the skin. I wish the bottle was larger. It helps temporarily. I still need to take my pup to the vet for her itching. Out of all the multiple products I bought though this one worked the best and did not irritate my pup and helped her mildly to stop itching

I ordered this for my French bulldog. He usually gets irritated skin between toes. He is allergic to the grass and chicken. This is a perfect replacement if you use the Genta Ved Topical spray, this is only Vet Prescribed. I highly recommend Pet MD hydrocortisone spray. Very happy with the results.

    • Didnot work well enough that i'd want it again
It worked for a SHORT period of time. Spray it on then wait for it to dry. Little dogs donot like to sit still. Then it only worked for s short time and you have to do it all over again. Ugh!

    • This stuff is truly a miracle!
I can't believe how fast and how well this stuff works! The relieved, smiley face my dog shows me whenever I apply this spray when she's got the summertime itchies is all the proof I need, plus one application works all day. And it works both on skin and furrier areas - just amazing!

    • It works!!
I know people say this all the time, but it is true in my case - I've never reviewed a product. However, this one is worth the time. My roommate's cat decided to adopt me a few months after I moved in. He was an indoor/outdoor cat and had MANY scabs all over him, likely from being bitten by fleas. I used this product on him and within a short period of time - a couple of weeks, almost all the scabs were gone, his skin feels great and his fur is even softer. I did scratch some of the scabs off once they were soft. Over the next few weeks, I kept using the spray and now he is basically scab free - every once in a while a scab will reappear, but I just use the spray, rub it in and the scab is gone. He also tolerates the spray (doesn't run away when I use it) and it doesn't have an overwhelming smell. He also had a little scar spot next to his eye. I'm not sure what it was, but it is now gone. He is now an indoor cat only (stays in my room) at the age of around 16 or 17 and he is SO much happier and in such better shape. It also is not dangerous to him when I use it and it seems like it calms him and stops him from scratching. It looks like this treatment will last and it's highly effective. It is reasonably priced.     • Perfect for the pets that insist on licking their paws
My dog insists on licking her paws and then they get infected. This stuff worked great and as soon as she starts to lick her paws again it only takes two days to clear up her nasty.
