This product works great for me. My dogs are small and don’t jump, push or chew. You can literally put something in front of them and they’ll stay where needed. I did add slip guards to stop it from moving around when my kids jump over it. It works! I also love that it’s lightweight, makes it easier for my mom to open/close one side. This product is not for everyone. It’s not durable, strong or heavy. It won’t stop your dog from pushing, jumping or chewing on it. The gate itself is fine. The issue that I and others have is that some dogs (like my little 8lb Morkie) are smart enough or strong enough to move it out of the way and go around it. My simple solution was to purchase some velcro strips to put on the bottom sides of the gate and on a wood floor. This simple change has allowed to gate to function as intended. Bought this to keep my english cocker spaniel in the ceramic tile area at night. The color is great, the gate opens and closes easily and it's easy enough to hide on the side of the couch. Height is perfect for our apartment, my dog can't jump over it. Please keep in mind he's 7, so he's not as agile as a puppy that might be able to make it over with enough energy. My only gripe is that it's not the most sturdy. it needs to be accordioned out to keep some balance and I need to place it up against something at both ends. if you're going to buy this, I recommend buying the stabilizers. ... show more

This is OK to block an area off, but if your dog jumps or pushes, this is a very flimsy gate. My 10 pound Shih Tzu cracked the side of it within a week. He was 17 years old and only did this by trying to push through the edge.
