I got the larger 16x24” size of this dog feeding mat and it’s still a bit small for me as I do have 3 dogs and they sometimes crowd each other to eat and drink at the same time. It’s very nice, cute print and nice dark gray color. It’s grooved on the bottom so it’s not going to slip on hard surfaces. Water just runs off of it - no soaking into the rubber material. This mat fits perfectly under the food and water bowl with a bit of room to spare. It has a cute design and keeps the bowls from sliding around. We have a fountain water bowl that our dogs splash water out of and this mat does a great job protecting the floor underneath. Got a mat of this type a while back for our cats. It was in the shape of a heart and had a kitty face on it. After seeing how well it worked I wanted a more appropriate design for our dog. This is it. It is and does exactly as described. It has a non slip bottom and a roughish top side so the bowls will not slide around on it. I’m using this rubberized rug to protect my hardwood floors from the litter. It’s just outside the litter box and when it gets too covered with litter, I just pick it up and put it back in. The rubber bottom makes it stay where you put it. It doesn’t slide around or move.

This dog mat is great for under the water bowl of my very sloppy dog. The water disappears right off it it. The size works well to contain most of the spills and drips. It had a very faint odor right out the package and it did not take long for it to lay flat.
