I got this set as a gift for my daughter who loves to build with her magnetic tiles and I thought the blocks might be a fun addition. They are great! They attach on all sides. These cubes are a great sucess, they spent a lot of time creating figures. We have bought them several of the collections, so they have a lot of patterns and color. Asbig fans of Minecraft, the novelty with this one is the cherry trees. The quality is excellent and they have a kind of heavy feeling in the hand, with a very special texture that is great as a sensory toy and you can also use it for math practice. Pictures are WILDLY misleading. Also this set was missing portal pieces! You'd have to buy 4-5 sets to build any of the stuff!!! I was hoping this would be a cool Chrostmas gift but its a total waste. They are WAY overpriced for unnoficial cheap Chinese manufacturing. I cant believe they lie this blatantly. You can build a handful of pathetic tiny things with this set, pictured on one tiny side of the box. Ridiculous. I bought three of these in different styles and NONE of them can get you the advertised sets. If they were $10-12 a set and honest I might buy more to supplement but this is stupid. It would be hundreds of dollars to get the pictured sets across the 3 designs I bought. ... show more

These are great for little learners of all ages! It came packaged well and no assembly is required of the individual magnetic tiles. The plastic tiles are made of durable material and I have tested them by dropping them from a height of 10 feet without any chipping or cracks. The magnets are strong and can be mixed and matched with other magnetic tiles you may already have. The only con I found is that some of the magnets can move inside the plastic so it's harder to build taller or build up more than 4 to 5 feet without some serious engineering/problem solving know-how. With that in mind, these are great STEM learning tools for your little ones! ... show more

These are pretty standard magnetic tiles. I wouldn't say they're better or worse than most other brands I've used. The colors are nice and bright and the magnets work nicely. What I do like is the little booklet that comes with it. It shows the difficulty rating, one star through five stars of each object to build. And it tells you how many of each piece you'll need to complete the project. You can't do everything in the booklet though with just this set. By the time you get to the last page it requires 166 pieces. Fortunately, from what I've found, most tiles are compatible with other tile brands so you can shop the deals and mix and match and be none the wiser that they're not all the same company. This set is a good place to start if you don't have any tiles yet, though. It has a little bit of all the basics and a little booklet for building ideas. It has just enough pieces to build without feeling limited, and you can add more to the set at a later time. ... show more

These are pretty good quality tiles in bright colors with strong magnets. You get small squares, small equilateral triangles, and a few different specialty shapes. This is a pretty basic set as there is only one size of square and triangle. The bag is not great quality. I would say it is just one step up from an average plastic shopping bag. Both my 3 yr. old and 8 yr. old like building with magnetic tiles and this set will be a nice expansion set to what they already have. ... show more
