I don’t quite remember off the top of my head how long I’ve had this collar but I believe it has been well over a year. I’m writing a review after so long to express how impressed I am with the quality. Believe me I have seen the reviews showing them being destroyed and whatnot but this has grown with my dog from when he was a crazy puppy and it has very little wear at all. The only signs of use is some tarnishing on the metal plate which hasn’t bothered me at all. My dog may look dainty but he is not. He is wild and spends a lot of time outside. I had a problem with the fit on my 17 lb pup and this seller immediately sent me out the extra small instead of the small I originally ordered. It fits perfectly !! Between the fantastic customer service and the great product you can not go wrong with this collar. The engraving is beautiful the collar itself is sturdy but comfortable for my dog and he looks fantastic wearing it. If he ever slows down long enough I'll send a picture.     • Great quality, get XS for dogs under 30lbs

I orderd according to sizing chart shown in post. It shows size SMALL fits 10-25lbs with a 12"-15.5" neck. My dog weighs 18lbs and his neck is 12". Sadly the collar is far too bulky and large for my dog. When adjusted to the smallest setting (12") the excess strap covers half of the name plate and sticks out 3" past the tuck-in loop that is made to hold down the excess, leaving a 3" piece of leather sticking straight out and looking silly. The quality is beautiful and engraving is great but the collar is just far too big and bulky for a 20lb dog, let alone anything smaller. Sadly I was unable to use the collar for my dog. I messaged the seller to ask if they may be willing to send me a smaller size and reccomended that they change the size chart so that others with smaller pups don't run into the same issue. The seller was very polite and attentive, they were willing to re-engrave a smaller collar and send it to me. We now have the XS size and it fits perfectly. I’m not one for writing reviews but this collar deserves one. It actually is everything it promises to be, something that just doesn’t happen anywhere near as often as it should. The hardware is solid brass, good quality but not too heavy or cumbersome for a small dog, 26 pounds, the stitching is really nicely done and the engraving on her nameplate is perfectly legible, neat and maybe most importantly, all the information is correct ... show more

Very well made collar. The size is bigger than expected. I purchased for my Aussie but it fits my 120lb. ridgeback better. However, it is on the second hole so when I order one with her name I will order one size larger. I punched a hole for it to fit my Aussie but the name tag is too large for the curvature of his neck.
