I had one of these in the 1980s. The fine quality hasn't changed, surprisingly; still a workhorse. I use it as a cooler for my food when I'm camping. It's sooo nice having a spout to dispense water for cooking or washing. My "older" shoulders and hands can't handle a big container anymore, so I set this up in my camp on a small table, and when it needs refilling, I use a cooking pot to do that. Love the product but the only feedback is the 'inlet valve' on top (what lets air in when taking water out the bottom) is kind of cumbersome. It's hard to lift that up while getting water from below. Outside of that it's a great product and at a wonderful price (compared to others). UPDATE: So on the initial review I overlooked the inlet valve...if you pull up harder you can get it to stick up and make my previous issue moot. That said, on the second time we used this it fell off the picnic table and landed on the top, breaking the handle. So inlet valve GOOD; structural integrity of handle NOT GOOD.
