If rave gear and personal safety gear had a baby, this would be it. It shrieks like a banshee at a metal concert and flashes bright enough to flag down a UFO. Does it help you find your keys? Sometimes. Does it startle everyone in a five-mile radius? Always.

My 78-year-old mother-in-law has difficulty finding her keys, so I hope this device helps her. While I like what this offers, I have a few concerns about how well she can adapt to it. First, it's a bit large compared to a standard air tag. It's more than double the length (3.25" versus 1.5") and considerably thicker even with the air tag in a case. (0.75" versus 0.33") Her keychain is not large, just a few keys, so adding such a bulky item may not work. She might end up asking for a regular air tag. Second, the alarm is loud at 130 decibels. I'm concerned it would scare her more than a potential thief. Still, she has been accosted several times, so it's worthwhile to try this. I'm not sure she will use it, but it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. Third, I was interested in the sharing feature. She can share the device's location with her daughter and me, which will be helpful for us. However, I now realize that Apple has added this feature for all air tags as of iOS version 17 in June of 2023. Fourth is the issue of charging. To charge the USB battery, it's necessary to turn off the device (so the alarm doesn't go off) and then pull the pin out and insert a USB charger. My mother-in-law would never be able to do this. However, I can charge it for her when we visit. I'm unsure how long it can operate between charges, but I'm optimistic it will work. This is an excellent device for the right person. It may not be the proper device for our situation, but it's an intriguing design, economical, and a helpful product.

This is an excellent combination product consisting of a personal alarm (piercing sound when triggered) and a tracker that works seamlessly with the Find My App (iOS). I charged it fully which takes some time (always make sure the 1st charge is a FULL charge) and then paired it with the Find My App in less than a minute. It connected seamlessly and stays connected and works very well as a location tracker. This would be an even more attractive purchase if the price (~$17) could be lowered if possible. A lower price would probably result in more purchases being a win-win for the seller/manufacturer and buyers. Nevertheless, this is a great product and kudos to the seller, manufacturer, and Amazon for making it available. I will update this review if needed based on further experience.

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a good quality location finder that I can safely hook to my sons book bag. when I saw this device I thought it would be a perfect fit. I like that you can charge it compared to similar devices that uses batteries. If the device gets pulled on and detaches an alarm will sound and lights will flash. This device works with apples find my. This location finder is perfect for what I was looking for.

Definitely does the job of being noticed. It won't work until you've linked it to your Apple ID using Find My, but once you do, wow is it loud. And piercing in that way like when a fire engine drives by with its sirens on, so it really gets in your head. This is good. This is what you want. Operation is simple. Press and hold the button to power it on. Pair it in the Find My app if you haven't already. If you have, pull the keyring holder firmly to break the contact point and if you didn't already, put on earmuffs. Put the holder back in place to stop the siren. It works as expected, but it does feel kind of cheap. Like if you were to drop or step on it hard enough, you could break it easy. If you're a would-be kidnapper (turn yourself in if you are), you could swipe this thing from a child's hand relatively easy and bust it up on some pavement to shut it up, my guess. Oh well, it's not a guarantee, just a deterrant. Last thing, it would be nice if it instantly went into lost mode when triggered, since if you have a kid and they're off in the woods somewhere, you may not hear the siren. Likely a limitation of the Find My app and not the device, but would be nice.

This locator is much larger than I thought it would be. It's a little too large to comfortably keep on my key ring. It is still on there until I find something better. This is larger than a lighter. It feels very plasticky and tacky. It does, however, work well. It connects to find my easily. It is loud. All you do is pull the end out to set the alarm off. It doesn't alert anyone through your phone. Just makes noise and flashes lights. The flashlight function works fine. If this was smaller and not so cheap feeling it would get 5 stars. As it is I only give it 4.

The media could not be loaded. PAPASAFETY 3-in-1 personal safety alarm is a device that incorporates multiple functions into a compact lightweight package. It’s a Bluetooth iOS tracker with a loud alarm and 2 light modes. LEDs can be set to either flashlight or strobing red and blue emergency mode. LED flashlight is fairly bright and alarm is very loud. Device is simple to operate with single button but isn't ideal when using flashlight. To turn off flashlight, you need to cycle through strobing red and blue emergency mode which is a bit annoying. There's no concern of accidental alarm as pull ring is very snug and requires a good tug to pull loose. Each function works without issue and tracker provides updated location information when separated from phone. For future releases, would like to see a separate button for strobing red and blue emergency light and ability to attach lanyard to device, not just pull ring. Additionally, build quality can be better to reduce seam gaps.
