I bought this in Sep 2016 and I was able to use it about 3 times to jump start cars. I also like the built in compressor since being in an apartment calls for efficient gadgets. Unfortunately, after about a year of use, I noticed that the battery drained faster and wasn't able to jump start a car when I used it. Now, even after charging it overnight, the air pump barely goes and when I needed it the most because my wife's car battery was acting up (I found out the alternator is the problem), I can't get the car to start.     • Not bad for the price.
Overall a seems to be a good product. I haven't had a chance to use it much however. I would recommend it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the knobs are plastic and not sure if they will hold up.

    • Bad connection beetween clamps & cables
When it arrived, measured voltage of every outputs (USB, cigarette outlets, clamps) and test light, pump. Everything seem to work fine or have voltage Except the jumper clamps! Almost return and later trying, find out that the jumper cables have Bad connection with the clamps (measured at cable ends draws 13v) Have not used it yet but not really impress.     • Damaged in transport?
The pressure gauge was cracked when it arrived and does not work. My husband uses it to inflate lawn tractor tires and just times it.

    • Careful!
You have to be careful. There is a switch that activates the USB port. I accidentally left it on when charging and it killed the battery. Now I have a large and expensive door stop. A better-designed product would not allow this to happen.

    • like the turn off switches, wish the cca was a bit more
Product is ok, I like that the various functionality does turn off to conserve power. Kinda wish I would have gotten something with more CCA. Put it on an old Bronco and it jusssstttttt hasssss eeennouuugh to get it started.

    • Maybe I got a defective one? Twice?
After much research and an unwillingness to pay more than $80 for a tire inflator / jump starter I selected this model, which has may features, including a high 300 PSI from the compressor. But, it broke after only filling the second tire (topping off, not filling from flat). I will return it and hope that I merely received a lemon. I will update this review or create a new one when the new unit comes in and I use it a few times OK, so I returned the first one and the second one works but the pressure gauge is not working. 2 stars for that and my concern that it may not last, or worse it will last till one day after I can no longer return it. I think we may have to pay over $100 for one of these to be reliable ... show more

I'm still not sure how easy this will be to use in the field (not expecting any difficulty), but it sure came in handy when the power went out for the umpteenth time a couple of weeks ago. The USB port is a most awesome addition to these things. I expect this will last me at least as long as my original, which held up for over 12 years. I will update this review in the future if it fails to meet expectations over time. ... show more
