I could not figure out from the product description whether the tank comes with a manifold, gauge and hose, so I ordered each of these for an additional amount. The items are clearly made by the same company but may be of slightly better quality. The valve wheel is plastic, on the added manifold it is metal with a knurled edge. My biggest grievance was that the manifold it came with was stuck in threads that had been painted yellow. No wonder these tanks leak. I unstuck the manifold, and used a wire plumber's brush to remove the paint from the threads, then put teflon tape on the extra manifold. I worried that little bits of paint might stay in the tank and clog the airways, so I blew it out with a compressor. But really, who paints the threads on a fitting that has to hold 125 psi? ... show more

Love that it doesn't have any plastic parts. I used it to replace the worn out leaky manifold on a portable air tank. She's now held for weeks @ 125psi for several weeks with out any leakage; not even a 1lb. Also replaced @ the same time... The crappy 1/8" side threaded plastic air psi guage & 1/4" touchy 2ft air hose while i was at it. New replacements are an 1/8" x 1/4" threaded elbow, a 1/4" bottom threaded oil filled 160psi/1100kPa guage, a 1/4" thread x 25' coiled air hose w/female chuck, a regulator controlled locking tire fill valve with digital guage & a male chuck, and finally an air blower w/male chuck. Now she's ready for blowing out spark plug holes this summer b4 removing plugs. Plus the greatest thing is, i can fill some low tires w/o stooping over and forced to hold down the sloppy short hosed fill valve still losing half your air and then having to guesstimate the tire psi b4 stopping to check tire psi, again losing more air as you check psi with a manual guage. ... show more
