The media could not be loaded. so starting off, to all models with air injection, there is a way to bypass it by putting in a smaller air intake into the air injection line, as seen in the picture, so this will work on models with air injection. installation was pretty easy and straightforward. i can definitely tell there has been an increase in power, and the sound is so much better, the video attached can show that pretty well. i currently have no other mods so that i take alone gave such a big impact. overall this is a great intake to start off with, it’s been a few days with it on so far it hasn’t thrown any codes. highly recommend ... show more

So I figured out how to make this work and not trip the check engine light finally. The problem is the diameter of the stock tube is much less at the air flow sensor. This tube is bigger there. The result is much higher volume of flow at not the right speed ACROSS the sensor. I took some large rubber spacers that came with this and used THEM to stuff in the tube before and after the sensor so it forces the air into a smaller diameter flow. Plus you need a better air filter that uses OIL on it. The dry filters will let too much air in i've noticed, plus not really offer protection. This filter is great but running too lean is not! I have the air injected version I put a small intake filter on the air injection and no check engine light so far but works great will add more once I take her for a drive: update just finished driving her for the day did get lean code after a while but just reset the ecu by disconnecting the negative terminal and it turned off the code but gotta say it definitely gave a boost in power thanks intake Kai ... show more

5 stars everything was easy and quick. Only down part was putting back the air sensor. I stripped one of the screw very easily. Might have just been a weird angle. Use hand tools to prevent the stripping.

So it was very easy to install, hardest part was removing the engine cover. Everything fit well, and is tight. MAF sensor whole works well and no check engine light. Though for people who don't know a lot about cars or just getting into it. The instructions suck. Fairly cheap and works, easy to do. But the universal bracket dose not work well for a 2010 Malibu. No good place to put it so I'll be making my own bracket later, rn held with zip ties for now. I'd buy it if you don't want to spend a lot. ... show more
