Holds 2 cups or 500mm or 16 ounces or 1/2 quart (standard coffee cup is 11oz-12oz). Large handle that I can actually get my large fingers through. Vitrified which gives it glass qualities. Manufacture says it is double-walled, however they did that but takes cold down to -4F and heat just above 300F so oven or hot plate safe and freezer safe if you stay within its range. Bottom is not flat but has a thin lightly raised lip on the outer edge. Shiny enamel finish. Room to spare for foam or get more coffee or tea without having to overfill the cup to the rim and spilling point when carrying it around. Soup serving would be great sipping from it. I like it with its low price. Good quality with some type of warranty. Of course, there was a price drop as soon as I bought one to check it out so at half price I bought two more. ... show more
