These lights lasted me FOUR YEARS having left them on (by accident, mind you) for days at a time when I went on vacation TWICE, and using them at least for a few hours basically every day. My fiance and I were talking about how durable this is and I had to revisit to give this the review it deserves. I bought these lights on April 2020 and put them up within the week I received it. Had them on and dimly lit the room, kept them on and never bothered to turn them off. They basically are kept on 24/7. 3 years in we're now Sept 2023 and these lights are still running!!! I love these. With the help of small command hooks, my roommate and I put these up in our dorm room on the wall behind our two desks(which is directly across from our door and in between two windows as well as our beds) on the three other walls we have LED lights going around the room about two inches below the ceiling. She matched her LED lights to match the color of these ones and honestly our room feels like a mini home. Other people have cold colored rooms but ours looks warm and inviting and it feels good to go "home" to the room at the end of the day. Ordered it. It arrived. I plugged it in, it looked nice. Then the cat decided it did not belong, so he destroyed it after 3 minutes of owning it. If anyone is looking for a mean cat I have one very cheap.

I purchased these in 2020 and I have it taped around my ceiling. I turn them on at nights and leave them on throughout the night and it’s been as great as day one. All the lights are still functional. I totally expected this to last maybe a little over six months since I left them on every night but it’s definitely exceeded my expectations.     • Take your time with unraveling!!
Bright white light, btw. Definitely not warm incandescent light, but that's fine because that's what I was going for. have these wrapped around my other twinkle lights, which are the white Christmas lights, on one wall of our bedroom. Was able to wrap these along the Christmas lights back and forth four times. I like being able to have the warm light from the Christmas lights along with the brightness of these if I choose (they have their own on/off switch). Read enough reviews on the pain in the a$% they are to unravel, & it's true... TAKE YOUR TIME unraveling, & unravel them from the end that has the plug-in. Took me maybe 15 or 20 minutes, but I didn't end up with a knotted up mess at the end like I read about from some. I did have to untwist a lot at the end, but with patience & taking your time it's fine. ... show more

The lights look beautiful once they're fully set up, but it was a huge hassle getting them there. They were totally tangled in the box and while untangling them, the wires came undone from the power cord. Now, if I so much as bump into the string of lights, they all turn off and I have to fidget around with the wires until they come back on. Buyers beware! ... show more

    • GETS TANGLED EASY, handle carefully when removing from package
i loved how bright these were, and how basic yet cute they were, only issue is regarding the tangling of the lights. As i was hanging them they all osrt of tangled into a huge ball and it took a couple of hours to get undone, but once the knot was out it took me abt three mins to install around the entirety of my living room. These lights are white and do not come with a remote or anything. THEY ARE NOT battery powered, so youll need a plug nearby. ... show more
