The Polaris Maxx is an outstanding product. Product was delivered quickly and installation along with instructions to adjust the flow was very straight forward. The cleaner works well beyond my expectations. It scoots around the pool, goes up the sides to the tile, the brushes on the propellers do a great job getting the debris off the sides and bottom of the pool. We have many very tall eucalyptus trees in our yard which leave many leaves and blossoms in the pool…the Polaris Maxx picks everything up, the pool is clean every day. I have been using the product for 2 or 3 weeks weeks and I have yet needed to clear a stuck leaf or manually remove leaves left after the cleaning cycle. The brushes have also restored the shine of the blue crystals of our pebble-tech finish. I highly recommend this product. ... show more

This one is better than the previous version, and I didn't want to give up my old one. This one can pickup larger objects and is less likely to have sticks or leaves stuck in the intake area. Just an overall improvement.

Just unboxed and got Benny the Jet going. Clearly is picking up gunk and doing its job. We’ve been using a manual vacuum that came with our pool build so this seems like a dream. We wanted a corded vacuum since we have a salt pool and the robot ones sucked all the salt crystals out and messed up our ratio causing pool to turn green. This cycles back into system. Still haven’t seen it climb the wall, not sure if we have to adjust flow. Will update later will durability and consistency. For the mid range price point, this seems promising. ... show more

Works well, as others have noted it does occasionally stop and requires manual intervention. Ours stopped 3 times within the first week and after the 3rd restart manually pushing the propellers it has been consistent. Will climb the walls some of the time, we probably need to add more suction to get consistent climbing. So far it's handled small and medium leaves without any issues. Will need to see how it handles larger leaves during fall. ... show more

The Polaris MAXX is incredible! It's cleaning pattern is completely random and virtually unaffected by wind. It's ability to climb and clean the walls is shocking. Also, it easily picks up ~1" rocks. Should it get jammed, it's very easy to "pop the hood" and remove the object. I am 100% satisfied. (For reference, my pool is in-ground, gunite, 40' x 20' with a shallow and diving end. I've used a Kreepy Krauly for 25+ yrs.) ... show more

It did not work... It did not go all the way up the wall, was very, very slow and stopped a lot and went in circles a lot. We gave it a lot of time to get used to the pool but it would not work.

This works WAAAAY better than the "robots". No charging just, place it and it works. Plus I really like the new twist and secure hose design.
