UPDATE: I had almost given up on this thing because the cats kept missing the litter box. But I did a few things to fix this and now it is working like a charm. The cats love the fact that it has holes on both sides, I think. Here's what I did: 1) Caulked all of the seams, all the way to the top. 2) Re-painted the interior (2 coats) with heavy duty high gloss paint -- now it can withstand a drip and easy clean up! 3) Bought a plastic container that fits the overall dimensions and cut holes the same curvature as the opening. (There's a you tube video on how to do that, using a dremel.) I wouldn't put too much stuff in/on it. I really wish that a litter box came with it that was sized to fit. Having difficulty finding one. I had to buy a low litter box to fit under the cat openings, but it doesn't go all the way to the edges of the walls. So now my cats are missing the box, leaks on the "floor" of the cabinet, or on the sides -- and the material absorbs the liquid when it gets to the seams. Maybe calk the edges? My cats do fine in other enclosed litter boxes (I have two others), so I'm not sure why I have so many accidents to clean up. I really liked the look of this and it fits perfectly where I wanted it. But with so many accidents between the litter box and the walls, I fear it's starting to stain and stink. ... show more

    • Fantastic litter box for those with a small space but fat, litter-kicking cats!

We love this litter box! We have a small bathroom and it’s perfectly slim to fit in our space. We blocked off one cat window and the shutter door with cardboard so that our cats can’t kick litter out. We placed the Cat Walk slightly off the back wall of our bathroom so that our four fat cats can freely enter and to minimize the amount of stray litter that gets tracked through the bathroom. We find that the Cat Walk contains the smells adequately with us closing off everything except one cat window entrance. A size large litter pan fits in nicely and clears the cat window perfectly. We used the shelf for food and treat overstock and the drawer for their toys and odds and ends. When assembling, do so carefully as you can easily break the parts if you screw things too tight without the parts lined up properly. If assembled incorrectly, you might have trouble with the structural integrity, but when assembled correctly, the Cat Walk is a sturdy, functional and attractive cat litter enclosure. We are very happy with this purchase and would comfortably recommend it for all of our fellow cat lovers! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. So perfect in our Camper! We are traveling with kids and 2 cats and we needed something to hide the cat litter, help us save space , and act as another countertop since the camper has so little surface space! Boy does this hit the mark in every catagory, it's a bit taller than most countertops but still works wonders. Perfect space to store our kitty items on one inner shelf , while the drawer on top is perfect for a camper junk drawer where we store flashlights, stamps, receipts and some tools! I highly recommend for those traveling in a camper, and I'm sure it would be great for those in a regular home too....one thing is that some cat litter bdoes get out and we do need to vacuum the inside out from time to time , but that would not deter me as a buyer at all, here you can see we put a kitty rug underneath to help with any litter that gets out. ... show more

Unfortunately the item arrived with damaged an broken parts. Due to the urgency of this purchase I will not return it, but I had to use wood glue to try to fix broken parts. The drawer will not be fully utilized because broken part is exactly what drives opening and closing of the drawer which by the way, came with a chip on the wood. This piece is great.     • Very nice but not quite big enough

It was easy to put together, sturdy and very nice looking; however I have 2 issues. I was trying to put my current litter box (Tidy Cat Breeze w/pellets) in it and it was just a little to long, so the door wouldn't close. Ruined the whole purpose of hiding the box. Double check your measurements! I bought a smaller litter box and had to switch to sand. This leads me to my second issue, which is that the side holes are too low. They pretty much line up with the top of the litter box meaning the sand gets tossed out by the cats. I ended up cutting a long hole in the back, so my original cat box could fit, except I had take off the walls that help prevent pellets from getting out of the box, because it blocked the whole to much and my cats can't get in. So then the pellets were all over my floor as well (not nearly as much as the sand). I ended up saying forget it and now its just a piece of furniture in my hall that stores cat stuff. ... show more

    • Perfect studio space fix!

I live in a 550 Sq. ft studio, and without having anywhere to hide my cat's litter box, I was living with a big eye sore everyday. Also, not nice for guests to have to look at when they visit. The openings on the sides where my cat can go in and out are much larger than necessary in my opinion.. looks like just another pretty piece of furniture, but if you look at it from the side, it's a huge window into the litter box. Otherwise, the purchase was a perfect solution to my having nowhere to hide a litter box problem!!! Fits a standard size litter box with no issue and my cat is loving going in and out of a spacious, private space to do her dirty work. ... show more

I am unable to insert the shelf because the left side has no holes for the shelf pegs. Also the pre made holes for the door were off so it sits crooked when closed. The quality doesn’t match the price.
