I really wanted this to work out because I wanted a “decent” but affordable variable power scope with a red dot mounted on top, though not necessarily with a laser. This one seemed to have slightly better ratings than any of the look-alikes, and it looked sort of cool too. I mounted it and brought it to the range (max. 25 yards). There was no way I could zero the scope, whether at 25 yds or less. Impact was about 6 inches higher and 4 inches to the right of where the iron sights put the bullets. NO AMOUNT of dialing windage or elevation moved impact at all. (Yes, I’ve mounted and sighted-in scopes on other guns, no problems.) I thought it could be due to improper mounting on the rail so I unmounted then remounted it. Carefully. Again. (But still that wouldn’t explain no change in response to adjustments). I stopped after 2 trips to the range, and didn’t even bother checking whether I could zero the red dot (or the laser). Thought about exchanging for replacement, but figured “what if the replacement scope would zero but now the red dot wouldn’t?” so I asked for a refund. In addition, and as others noted, the inside of the scope doesn't appear to have been finished with nonreflective stuff. Just about any illumination of the reticle puts a bright but irregular halo and what looks like colored "fuzz" around the inside perimeter of the scope interior. Some reviewers commented that the adjustment ring for magnification is stiff. It is; very stiff. I could live with that too, but not only is turning the ring stiff but the way the scope is assembled there’s not much room to get your fingers on the ring. Finally, the side mounted green laser is bright, however no matter how much I tightened the mounting screws I couldn’t stop a slight wiggle. FWIW: I put this on a Ruger PC, and when it’s mounted so I have proper eye relief the front of the scope sits only about 1 mm above the rear sight on the gun. Overall: bummer.

The metal is solid milled aluminum with good anodization. The peieces are worth far more than the whole. i didnt even know that the main 4-16x scope has red and green illumination. truly amazing price. its for a 22 marlin 60. the gun is shots 1 inch groups at 75 yards and is good out to 150 the accuracy on the scope is way more than needed. not sure how it would do on a big bore.

This low price unit will do the job. It has faults. I ordered 2 units. Both came through with a miss-drilled hole in the mount. I reported this to Amazon they stood by the product. The eye relief is only adequate. There are two backup sighting systems and in an emergency I could use my rifle iron sights. I have not shot the rifle in but I do not foresee a problem as my bore sight device has it set up If you have a drill press and are able to re-drill the mounting hole you will be ok. I have pictures but they will not download to this. Thank you Amazon, Augie

Great scope with nice bells and whistles. clear sharp glass nice focus. Lazer works excellent, as does halolgen sight. Due to state 'lock down' have been unable to test it out as of yet but looking forward to getting to the range.

Purchased this and just finished installing and Op Checking. No battery supplied for laser sight! I checked the instruction manual. No listing of battery size required for laser sight. And it is NOT the Cr 2013 used by the holosight. Also missing from the paperwork that came in box, any mention of who to contact for the 12 month warranty. Nope, no email, no website, no phone number. Nothing! Sure, I can detach the laser, and go to the local battery store and figure out what kind of battery through trial and error. But I shouldn't have to. To say the manual is poorly written is a gross understatement. I am not scheduled to go on range to zero sights for another 2 weeks, so no comment yet on the quality of the optics (although not hopeful). Why is 12 month warranty included in item title with no information on how to contact warranty?!
