EDIT: Michael from Abahub and I have emailed back and forth and they are sending me a replacement. They also offered me a full refund, which I was tempted to take (because I bought a different leash), but then I thought, "Never bad to have two leashes on a good day." Michael got my address and just now sent me the tracking information, so i could see when the package arrives. All companies have problems with products. Not all companies have good people. People say this think snaps on them. It's a little stiffer then other leashes but it's cheap and comes in lots of colors to match you board.

Past well known industry leashes i'd used would soften when wet and slide around a lot on my ankle. Not this one. It holds firm in one place so you never pop up and have your back foot stepping on the leash while riding a wave. Have used it 3 sessions in up to chest high surf, and it has held up well. We needed a new strap for a kids boogie board quickly because I didn’t want it to be trash. It came quickly and worked beautifully. Fit both kids (8 and 4) on wrists and ankles—they loved that! Comfortable for the adults that have to hold on to it when they tire of it.
