Received my heater on 29 Nov 2024. I had read about the wifi issues from Amazon reviews prior to my my purchase. Wanted to see for myself what might be causing the problem. Knew if I couldn't figure it out, I could return it with no problems. Got it setup with wifi and Alexa, but I had powered-on the unit by pressing the ON/OFF indicator (manual operation) on the heater itself. This action causes the remote control/wifi feature to be disconnected. This is a feature of the heater, not a wifi fault. In other words, it disables the unit's wifi. If you look at page 7 of the user manual (#1 top of page, "Wireless Network Mode"), it states "When powered-on, short press to turn on/off the remote-control function". They're not talking about the remote control that comes with the heater (It will work just fine). They're talking about allowing our wifi to talk to the heater. Short pressing the "Wireless Network Mode" indicator worked immediately. The wifi signal indicator changes from amber to white, indicating it is fully functional. I can now control the heater with Amazon Alexa, my primary method of operating it. Hope this helps those who still own the heater and are frustrated and disappointed with this issue. Also hope it helps anyone who is on the fence about purchasing this product. Still very early, but I'm giving it 5 stars so far.

Bought 3 of these heaters. They worked okay for a couple weeks, then one by one they all experienced problems. First one stopped connecting to the app. Second one stopped turning on. When I reached out to their customer service, it was an even worse experience. They offered little help other than resetting the units, which didn’t help. They refuse to refund or replace the units, even though they’re only 2 months old. They now ignore my emails and haven’t responded in weeks. So now I’m stuck with 3 heaters that don’t work. Save yourself the money and trouble by not buying these garbage heaters!!

First let me say that this was not my original purchase selection. I purchased a remote heater that I loved and was told that it violated some form of safety requirement, I was refunded and had to pick something else that satisfied my needs. Through my search I found this product and thought it would be a perfect match for what I had originally purchased. I received this in Dec 2024 and have used this almost daily since. I use it in my master bath since it is over my garage and is usually colder than the rest of my house. Functionality: It has all the typical functions and features you'd expect; remote control, wireless capability, app controlled, oscillation, and a wide range of temperatures. It can be controlled with various home hubs, i.e. Alexa, Google Assistant. There is no major order as there can be with some heaters. Ease of use: It is fairly easy to use and the controls at each level are pretty intuitive and simple. The remote works OK, although I found it a little lacking since it doesn't seem to have necessary markings making it easy to quickly understand. The remote also operates on the same channel as at least one of my TV's so there is a conflict when I use both. I do have a small TV in my bathroom where the heater is used. Timer: You can set the heater to shut off after as little as one hour, however It does not allow for anything less than an hour. Issues: According to the manual, it will disconnect from the Wi-Fi after 24 hours, so in order to use it with a home assistant, you must operate it on Wi-Fi, at least every 24 hours or less. The issue is that it randomly disconnects from the Wi-Fi, making access via home assistant almost useless. If I use it in the morning when I wake up, and try to start it while I'm on my way home, it typically will not start as the Wi-Fi has already disconnected. The same thing has happened when I've tries to start it before getting out of bed in the morning, after using it before bed prior to laying down. You cannot even turn on the Wi-Fi, via the app because to use the app, it must be connected via Wi-Fi. So essentially, it's a portable heater that occasionally operates as a Wi-Fi connected device, if you're lucky. Simply unreliable. All in all, that's what earn it 3 out of 5 stars for me.

I’d give this a 1 star but it DOES heat up so I thought that wouldn’t be appropriate. But the whole reason I bought this one is for the WiFi capabilities. My goal was to be able to set it to start from my phone right when I wake up to get my living room warmed up before I had to go there. However, you have to press on the wifi button that’s ON the heater itself to enable to capability of turning the heater on / off from your phone. So it defeats the purpose. Once you press it, yes it works. But it disables after a few hours every time. Also, it does come with a traditional remote to turn off and on but even with the remote, you have to basically be right in front of the heater for it to turn on / off which is annoying.

Perfect space heater for my needs. The heater is high enough to where I don't worry about the carpet the base sits on. The heat produced is warm enough to work in a 25x25 living room and extended hallway. The electric consumed is minimal and much cheaper than running the gas central heater. The product does not have an odor when running which is great! The remote control feature on the phone is greatly appreciated. I plan to have this product for a long time.

WiFi doesn't stay connected, so you need to use the remote. Even without the timer, it shuts off after a short time. Terrible product. Unfortunately I didn't set it up so I'm way past the opportunity to return it. It's essentially brand new.

Been looking for a heater for a long time. My 1st floor is around 1000 sq ft and I do not have enough radiator on the walls. The photo shows my hallway that has 18' ceilings and it's freezing in there and that effects the 1st floor. I tried some other heaters with a similar app and returned them. Found this one and saw the negative reviews about the loss of connection. I ordered it and right on top of the unit there's a sticker that says "Per Federal Regulation, this unit will disconnect from WiFi if not used within a 24 hr period" Set up was quick and easy and it explains right in the app how to re-connect the wifi, simple. I've been using it for a week and it's working well keeping the 1st floor at 66 degrees. Osculation is very good for heat output to hallway. App is fantastic and simple to use and has really good features. Very good unit, excellent power at a great price. If you put this in a 10x12 room, on high, you will lower it down to medium or low heat.
