Works like a space heater - not a single source of heating
Color: White
Decent space heater. I like that there is no flame or parts that can ignite a fire. It’s also totally quiet. I live in the mountains in Southern Vermont - the past 10 days the temp has gone down below zero every day and we had over 2 feet of snow but this is a wonderful place if you love outdoor sports in the cold. My apartment has 2 main sources of heat - radiator auxiliary and a state of art electric heating and cooling system. I use this heater only if it goes below 68 inside and in an interior bathroom which feels warm going into the shower but cold when I get out. It does a good job taking the chill out of the colder areas. It works the way I thought it would. This is the second winter I’ve used it so can’t project how long it will last. Space heaters generally have a myriad of issues. If the heat goes out in my abode this won’t warm a room when the temp is zero. I would need a log stove to dent the cold. I also never turn the unit to its max because I assume this would be a problem esp if I depended on it 24/7. This is easy to move around. It has a hand space above the thermostat which works fine. I wouldn’t pull it by the cord because that, for sure, would cause issues. So, if you have the need for a major heating appliance this unit isn’t the remedy. If you want to just cut the edge of a chilly area this will work fine. It will take about an hour to see results. If you live in a warm area where it doesn’t go below the 60s a few of these would work fine like or in conjunction with radiant or hot water floor heating like you see in S California. If this conks out I will need a new plan C. ... show more

The best oil filled heater!
Color: White
The upper story in my house is horrid hot in the summer and extra cold in the winter and I needed a boost of heat for comfort. I have two of these space heaters and they do not disappoint. I'm a bit of a freak when it comes to ensuring that the prongs of my plugs do not get overly hot in the outlet, that the plug itself does not get hot and I know a lot of this also has to do with old outlets. Also, safety is paramount and if a product says it shuts off if tipped over, then it needs to do just that. My first one I've had for a few winters and the second one I wanted to have in reserve, but also use when temps really drop, and they are both exceeding my expectations. It is very easy to assemble out of the box - you merely screw in the wheels and you're good to go. This is a no frills space heater and has simple dials that you can run on low, medium or high energy output along with the dial for the heat setting. I only need to run mine on the low energy output and on this setting, even on high, my plugs and prongs stay nice and cool - they only get a tad warm when the unit turns on to heat the oil back up. And the heat these generate is perfect - enough to heat up a bedroom. They do give off an initial smell when using for the first time or storing for the winter, but after the initial use that does go away. The tip over shut off works!! I tested literally 8 or 9 other units that said they had tip over protection and none of them worked so back they went. Also for added safety, I have 18x12 ceramic floor tiles that I put the space heaters on so they do not heat up my carpet. For those unfamiliar with oil filled radiator space heaters, they are incredibly energy efficient. They have sensors that monitor the heat of the oil, shut off when it reaches the temperature you select, then turn back on again to heat up when it dips below that. I highly recommend these for any of your supplemental heating needs. ... show more

Comfortable and dependable heat Comfortable and dependable heat
Color: Black
Review Image by Elegant Earcuffs by Fiona
I have a 12 x 24 workshop in the backyard and this heater works very well. I have to keep an eye on what the temperature will be outside and when it got below freezing, it struggled to keep the place warm. It heats up slowly, so I keep it on 24 hours a day. The current temperature outside is 32°F and 62° inside, which is comfortably warm for me. Generally, I find it raises the temperature inside by about 30°. When it gets into the 40s outside, I turn the temperature down inside. There is no instant change in temperature so you have to think ahead a little bit. Make sure you put the wheels on because that raises it above a rug which gets a little warm, but certainly not hot. I have to walk across the snowy ground to get into my studio and I stand over the heater when I get there for a few moments and it heats me up beautifully. Very happy with this. It’s silent, not quiet. It is completely silent, except the odd click when it’s regulating itself. ... show more

Good Choice for Garage
Color: Black
This heater has worked great through two Midwest winters thus far in my garage for my dog. I don't know if she cares, but it gives me peace of mind that her space is a little warmer cold days. It is not like a heater in your face, and takes time to heat up, but does a good job. No noise. Adjustable heat settings. ... show more

Powerful, Quiet, and Perfect for My Large Room
Color: White
I purchased the PELONIS Radiator Heater for my living room, and it’s been a game-changer this winter. Right away, I noticed how quickly it warms up a large space. The 1500W output is plenty for my room, and it keeps the temperature consistent without the annoying hot-and-cold swings I’ve experienced with other heaters. I really appreciate the dual-knob design. it’s simple and intuitive. One knob for temperature and one for power level makes it easy to fine-tune the heat exactly how I want it. I also like that the oil-filled radiator design is quiet; unlike some fan heaters, this one doesn’t create a constant hum, so I can read or watch TV without distractions. The build quality feels solid, and the heater rolls easily on the casters. I’ve moved it from my living room to my bedroom without any hassle. Plus, it’s safe to touch on the outside while running, which gives me peace of mind around pets and kids. The only slight downside is that it takes a few minutes to fully warm up initially, but once it’s heated, it radiates heat steadily and efficiently. Overall, this PELONIS heater has exceeded my expectations. For anyone needing a quiet, reliable heater for a large space, this is a solid choice. ... show more

NICE PRODUCT... WORTH THE MONEY AND EASY TO SET HEAT LEVELS TO YOUR COMFORT
Color: White
This is the 2nd or 3rd one we have had over the years... always keep a couple on hand in rotation. i like the dial feature with dual level heat control. Why I like it over the digitals ones is that if you lose power, it comes back on when power returns. With the digital it just stays off during a power outage until you turn it back and re program it. A real pain. The simpler the better I saw and it is safe being contained and not the wire and quartz tubes. Safer I think and has both overheat protection and fall over protection. If it falls over, it automatically turns off. Nice feature and good price on Black Friday deals. ... show more

Fantastic price great for balancing crazy increasing electrical bills by data centers
Color: Black
I bought 2 of these just to see how my light bill would be and how warm they would keep it. With the apartment being all electric the base heaters use a crazy amount of electricity. Even keeping the heaters set at about 66 my light bill was almost $400. They for great i keep on the low settings and the temp is sitting right about 1 O'clock so slightly more than half. Keep the area temp consistent once warmed up. Oil filled heaters are some of the most efficient heaters out there with the main difference between brand is the temp sensor controller. As with that being said even with having the temp about 3 degrees higher still had a lower bill for a full month of about $90 so with getting them at about $60 each before the 2nd month is finished theyve paid for themselves over the other heaters. Just keepnin mind can take awhile to bring a consistent temp. Its not a fast heater but it'll keep the whole room at a very consistent temp was regulated ... show more

Constant warm heat
Color: Black
Bought this for my daughter’s apt in PA. It did the job for her needs and cut down on those high utilities! Since it is an enclosed oil heat system it stays warm and not open heat coils. She has pets so not danger of them getting burned. The adjustable temp controls and remote makes it perfect for an apt. Stays a constant heat instead cutting off and on like a coil heater!! ... show more
