My mom (78) has fallen a couple of times in the last year and a half, and she is unable to put pressure on her knees to push herself up. After the first fall she was able to get up with my assistance but the second time we needed emergency services to help which was very embarrassing for her. This lift chair is very compact, solidly built, and easy to get where you need it. I used it as a test to raise myself to standing (I am a big guy, near the weight limit) and it did just fine getting me into a standing position, so I am confident it will do fantastic with my mom should we need it. Assembly and charging are both simple affairs. To assemble you simply snap the seat back onto the frame, and then to charge you plug the charger into the port for the remote control. The remote control is easy to use, the buttons are large, easy to press, and clear in what they do. I have set a calendar reminder to quarterly charge the chair (not sure if the battery will discharge when not in use) to make sure it is always ready to go. While a bit pricey this device has already made mom feel more confident and I feel better knowing it's available should we need it.

I got this electric lift chair for my elderly Mother to help with her occasional non-emergency falls and to allow her to enjoy a bath again. I am not strong enough to lift her on my own and would have to fetch help from neighbors which felt imposing and also embarrassing for her. Now with this easy to use chair I can get her safely up from the floor on my own as well as out of the bath. One of the best things about this is that it is waterproof! She loves it as well, it saves her from feeling like a burden when she falls and she can now take a bath without losing her dignity. The chair is solidly made and sturdy, folds down to a nice compact size when not in use and it really easy to clean when needed by wiping down with a damp cloth. I find it super easy to operate with the simple 3 button remote - up, down and emergency stop. A must have if you are caring for an elderly person or anyone with mobility issues and well worth the price!

It is simple to assemble, ensuring that you can set it up quickly without any hassle. The controller is the battery, providing a seamless experience without the need for additional components. Its versatility allows it to be used in various settings, including the bathtub, making it suitable for different needs and preferences. In terms of storage, this product is compact and space-efficient. When folded, it measures just 6 inches thick and approximately 27 inches wide, allowing it to be stored easily out of the way when not in use. The design includes suction cups on the bottom, along with a heavy plastic seat and back supported by metal, ensuring stability and safety. Additionally, the back reclines when lowered to the ground, offering comfort and adaptability for the bathtub. I am 6’ 6” and 300 pounds, and it lifted me off the floor without any problem. It lifted me high enough that I easily got out of the chair. My only caution that I have seen is that you need to stay in the center of the seat for better stability.
