This is a really great electric seat riser for on the bed. My mom just had back surgery so it's been a big help while she's mostly bed ridden recovering right now. One thing is you may need to elevate the legs as well so an elderly person or injured person doesn't slide down the bed when it is sitting up. It does not slide or love once it is down and it is smooth raising up or lowering down. The only thing I wish it had, is a carrying case. I used bungee cords to keep it folded. Excellent. Very quiet, works great. My only complaint is it needs better cushioning all around. A thicker bottom cushion to keep from sliding down while asleep. If it had some give like “purple” or an egg crate type of padding it would be the best. Perfect for new mums who’ve had a C-Section, and elderly.
