This clock is a very nice clock at a really good price. I really appreciate the size, it is not at all bulky, and takes up very little space on my nightstand. Even though it is a nice, compact size, the numbers are large and very easy to read. I am not using it for the alarm, only to be able to see the time. The brightness is easily adjusted with 5 levels of brightness to choose from. I chose the dimmest available option because I like the room to be as dark as possible for sleeping. Personally, I wish it could be even dimmer, but I do like all of the other features, and it is definitely worth the price.

This Peakeep clock replaces a similar-sized red LED clock that lived by our TV. Compared to the old clock, the numbers on this one seem crisp and clear, versus kind of red and fuzzy. The new display is blue, but it's a pleasant light blue, not the kind of hyper blue LED that makes you want to put on welding goggles. The new clock has five brightness levels, plus "off". Brightness level 2 seems to work well, staying visible in direct sun without being too bright in the evening. Level 2 is still pretty bright when the room is dark, however. Level 5 is way bright. The Peakeep clock is easy to adjust, with eight buttons in a row across the back. Lettering on the back explains how to use the controls, so you really don't need any instructions. The lettering is white on black, and easy to read. There are plus and minus buttons for adjusting the time or the alarm, so its' easy to get to the right time. We don't use the alarm feature, but one drawback is the "off" button for the alarm is one of those eight buttons, and it's the same size and round shape as the others. While the brightness button is on the left end of the buttons, the alarm button is third from the right. I guess you'd get used to it. There's also a "snooze" bar across the top. The "off" button at the right end of the snooze bar, probably easy to find with a little practice. The new clock is a featherweight compared to the old red LED clock. The old clock was getting kind of ancient, and had an internal transformer, so just a power cord, no "wall wart". The Peakeep clock has a wall wart power supply, eliminating the heavy transformer, and also using less juice. The old clock had a front panel with number keys, so you could just type in the exact time you wanted. All the controls were in front, with the panel being angled like a keyboard below the display. Seems cool, but it was not too intuitive how to enter "set" mode, so it usually took trial and error to set the time. I didn't see anything similar when I searched for the new clock. The row of buttons doesn't seem too bad by comparison. We'd purchased a couple of small analog battery-powered clocks bearing the Peakeep brand before, they've held up well. We'll keep our fingers crossed, but so far this new one is exceeding expectations.

This alarm clock is lightweight and easy to use. I only use it for the clock feature and the display is large and clear. You can even adjust the brightness level. It comes with a plug for the wall but you also have the option to use batteries. Great product, highly recommend!

Adjustable brightness is a great feature, however level 1 is too dim for viewing except in a totally dark room and level 2 is a bit too bright at night even though it is OK for daytime use. So having level 1 be a little brighter would be perfect for bedroom use. Overall this is a good clock and a good value too. I don't use the alarm feature so no comment about it.

I bought this clock to put below my tv and it was important to be easy to read and not be too distracting. Score on both counts and I can read the time from 30 feet away easily. The variable brightness works well to achieve my goals. I don't use the alarm functions or the usb port so I can't comment on those. But overall I'm delighted with it! Keeps accurate time too.

Now that I'm older and my eyesight is starting to go, I've found that if I have two of the exact same digital clocks, but one has blue numbers and the other has red numbers, the one with the blue numbers is so much more clearer than the one with the red numbers. I got this clock for the bedroom in our RV. I really like that you have 5 different dimmer settings, and even at the dimmest (which is what we have it set at) the blue numbers are still clear. And I like the large height of the numbers. The clock is very easy to figure out how to set the time and alarm without reading the directions. I like the slim size and the battery backup. It fits perfectly on a narrow shelf in the RV and the cord is the right length for our application. Very pleased so far.

I liked this clock so much I just bought this 2nd one for my son who sometimes forgets to set his phone alarm. It's easy to set up. The only button on top is the Snooze button so you don't have to worry about turning it off accidentally. I LOVE the brightness buttons. L-01 is perfect in that while you can't see it in the day or with the light on, when the room is dark & you're trying to sleep, it's like a "barely there" light. You can still see the time but it's very dim. The alarm is as loud as you want it to be & should be loud enough to wake even my "in a coma" son. :) I titled this "Almost Perfect" because with no power, even though the batteries are in & I suppose the alarm will still go off, the display goes dark so you wouldn't know what time it was.

This clock is great. Easy to read in the dark and during the day with bright blue numbers. Also it allows you to charge your phone and other devices with a usb port. Very handy to have if you just want a simple alarm clock or you're like me and you wake up in the middle of night panicked because you don't know what time it is! Now that doesn't happen to me since I can just look over my shoulder and see the clock.
