Love this coop, was bigger than I anticipated! This is a reasonably priced good size coop. It fits my 4 silkies comfortably. I recommend keeping something over the coop to keep rain off it because the material of the wood isn’t extremely durable but as long as you keep it covered it will last much longer. This coop is great. Assembly can be done alone with a chair as a helper. Once assembled it's pretty sturdy. You can house quite a few chics for grow out or about 4-5 juvenile bantams.

It does need a few mods, but prefab coops usually do. This coop is adorable and a good value for the money. I just finished putting it together by myself, took about 2 hours. I did reinforce the stapling around the hardware cloth, and will need to add some plexiglass on the front door to keep out the weather, but otherwise it is perfect for 2-3 small to medium chickens. I have 6 and they have been kicking one out of the other coop (Eglu) at night, so I thought I would put 2 in here. Now I want to buy another one and connect them at the run, extending the side panels out to lengthen the run and adding a bit of extra roofing over that part, because this is so much cuter than the set up I have now. I'm going to add flower boxes of herbs to feed my chickens over summer. It comes painted, but I recommend going over with a coat of exterior paint for extra protection. I also recommend adding stronger latches for the door. I would definitely recommend purchasing this if you need a coop for a small, city flock. ... show more
