The unit only had a few parts, and with the clear and easy-to-follow instructions, it was easy to assemble. It even came with the required tools, including 4 mm and 5mm Allen wrenches, one of which has a Phillips head on the other end. I don’t think anyone would want to use the enclosed Phillip’s head for the assembly, but it is there if needed. I used an electric screwdriver to screw the five wheels to the base and a regular Phillip’s head for the rest of the assembly. A heavy vertical post attaches at the back of the base. At the top of the post is a horizontal bar on which the TV will hang. To hang the TV on the bar, a frame must be attached to the back of the TV. To secure the frame on the TV, a large assortment of bolts is provided to accommodate different makes and sizes of TVs. There are also two sizes of spacers. My Samsung 55” required the large diameter bolt. The small length bolt was too short, and the longer bolt was too long. Thus, I needed spacers for the longer bolt. The large spacer was too large, and there were not enough smaller spacers to finish the project. Fortunately, I had the correct size bolts – a length between the enclosed short and long bolts – from another project. This should NOT be an issue for most of you. If it is a problem, the bolts are available at hardware stores for about a buck. You can attach a “cable management solution” to secure and hide the cables on the back of the vertical post. These are zip ties with a sticky backing. They were not “sticky enough” to stay secure to the post. The base and vertical post are hefty. The two shelves, which are functional, adjustable, and easy to attach, look “cheap and flimsy.” Some of the reviews claim the unit is sturdy with a TV attached. When stationary, the unit is okay. But let’s be honest; this unit consists of a relatively small base on wheels. At the rear of the base is a vertical post that goes up about four feet with a horizontal bar on the top. Hanging off the horizontal bar, 3 to 4 feet from the ground, is a 40+ pound TV. It will rock back and forth if you lightly push or touch the TV. Some similar units I looked at recommended that it be attached to the wall for added security. If you move the unit, especially on carpeting, it is very “tippy.” Even the instructions recommend two people move the unit. Unlike some of the other units I looked at, on this one, it is relatively easy to adjust the height of the TV. Also, it is easy to turn the TV to the left or right. It will not win any design awards, but it was inexpensive, easy to assemble, well made, and it got the job done.

My TV is a 58" Roku from Walmart. I was SO nervous to put it on this stand! Thinking it would be too big for the stand and was scared like heck it would possibly topple over, seeing as I've never heard of a 'rolling' TV stand before, or anything that looked like this other than having some heavy stand on the bottom to accommodate a heavy, expensive TV. But...... I'm happy to say, I was wrong! I could see perhaps a 55" going on it just fine. But a 58", much less a 70"????! Yeah, I was a little nervous. But I took a chance. It's just fine. Really. If you're concerned, don't be. It's pretty sturdy. It's good for my TV, anything bigger than that, then I may get a little nervous, especially if you move it around some time. But I think it would be fine. I wanted to save space in my bedroom, so I choose this, and yes, I was nervous to try because it was something different than what I'm used to. And of course, it would be an added bonus to be able to move the thing easily without having to struggle when I move furniture around. Oh..my...God, this thing is ever so awesome. The wheels could be of better quality, but they're ok. The locking mechanism is a little difficult. Not really as simple as locking it, but really trying to put some pressure with your foot on them and they're tiny and hard to reach. That's what I don't like. The wheels could be better. There are 5 total. Like other reviews, I have to agree with the shelves. They suck. I think me personally, I would have to purchase a sticky pad or something non slip to be able to better secure my consoles on it, like my Xbox from sliding off. So far, it's holding everything ok. You can hide the cords or wires. Comes with tape that is also a sort of ziptie looking thing on it. You lock the cords and stuff in place and tape them to the back of the stand. Very convenient. In my case, came with all parts. Even provides you all the tools you need, like a Phillips screwdriver and Allen wrench. The instructions are actually surprisingly decent to get through. They are both English and Chinese language. I don't feel it's as thorough as I'd like though. There were some questionable things that wasn't explained in the manual, but we managed ok. There were pictures to help guide you and many different options to choose from depending on the type of back you have behind the TV. Like any weird shapes and stuff. I put this together with my boyfriend and absolutely this would definitely be a 2 person job. It's A LOT of work. It's very heavy, too. Of course. You can expect something like this to not be a piece of cake when assembling. There's going to be lots of work required. Took us about 2-3 hours, start to finish. But honestly, I love it so much. It was so worth it, the money, the setup and all. It makes me wonder why I never thought of something like this before. I wonder how much time and horrible backaches something like this could've saved me over the years. It was worth the money.

What can you say other than comparatively perfect. No you do not get oddly shaped base. You get a full bottom shelf that is very large. You also get two very sturdy metal shelves. The column that holds up the television does not have two screws in it like most of the modern TV stands. It has eight. Four front and four back at its main connection point. As this is second generation they have more than likely corrected any flaws that the old model had. And an engineer did it. Please save yourself the heartache of all those old tippy stands. Buy this product today. Unless you have a pet rhino or bison you're going to have no trouble with this ever tipping over. The central column is thick heavy steel. At the point of contact with the really thick wooden base it has a thick steel panel that attaches to under the wooden base. The instructions are easy to follow. Wow! Now I must mention that I have arthritis and I am disabled in a wheelchair. It is very heavy in the box. I unboxed the entire thing on my bed and assembled it. Making sure to tighten all of the bolts correctly in an x pattern where that applies. This is a beautifully designed piece of engineering art. Simple,functional and tough. 10 stars. Seller shipped promptly and arrived as scheduled.

The tv stand is very sturdy but I don't think I would go above 55" for tv size. I ended up putting a 48" on it and that looks to be a great size relative to the size of cart. It wasn't difficult to assemble but I'm pretty good at such things and others may feel differently. I think it provides decent value for the money. The mobility and swiveling capability is very useful for a room that has multiple viewing angles. My 1 complaint is the lack of flexibility in determining the height of the tv. There are 2 places where you can vary the height and together they might add up to 10" probably less. I felt that even at the lowest height, the center of the tv was still above eye-level for a person sitting on a couch. If you like your tv up higher, this won't be an issue for you. I ended up providing my own little modification to the rear brackets to get the tv to (safely) sit lower.

It has held our older, heavier LG 65” inch TV with no problems whatsoever, easy to maneuver and adjust (shelves are adjustable too).

This is a very nice product and very well designed for sturdiness. It has a wood/composite base with 5 screwed base wheels and 2 include brake locks. It's very solid. Some of the reviews described wheels coming unglued. That is nonsense because it has SCREWS. I wanted a mobile stand that looks good which needed to be stable for my new expensive Sony OLED TV. The 4 corner wheels plus 1 extra wheel in the middle was an unexpected surprise. It looks terrific and allows convenient access to make connection changes a breeze.. It is far easier than any wall mount I have ever seen, which is at the proper viewing height. I will probably order another stand to support my old HEAVY plasma TV because this stand can support the TV weight.

Very solid built stand. Easy to follow instructions and was easy to put together. Was a bit worried fitting the Samsung 70 inch but it holds it with no problem. Have my games system and receiver on the extra shelves in addition and easy to move around. Very pleased with the product.

Bought one and liked it so much that I bought a second one. The first was perfect - the second had one shelf that had the screw holes drilled to close together making it impossible to install the second shelf. Not sure how you get that far off on what should be an automated process. Still recommend this product though since it is easy to assemble, sturdy and all parts are well organized. Instructions are great with illustrations that make assembly a breeze.
