  • Worked Great!
Made the 17 hour road trip with 13 fish in a 20 gallon tank filled to 1/3 capacity. Started using it the night before after prepping the fish tank. Ran for 7 hours before getting on the road. Worked perfectly and all fish made it to new destination unscathed. Totally recommend it!

  • Works as it should.
Got this little pump to use in a bucket for live bait. Works as it should. This is a good inexpensive option for hobby fishing. The only downside is that it doesn’t include an air hose it an air stone, which would be beneficial to someone looking to open the box and use it right away.

  • Great live bait pump if you can find D batteries
The live bait pumps I've used in the past always used AA batteries. I was a surprised to find this one is a little larger and actually takes D batteries which is a nice touch if you can find them. Although slightly larger than the aerators I've used in the past, this one still fits snugly in the side of my fishing bag pouches. ... show more

  • Decent air pump
Works on 2D batteries (inside battery compartment, it shows battery picture with AA). Generates good amount of air. A bit noisy little pump, but when you are outside, you probably won't be bother by it. Smalll enough to clip on my live bait cooler. There are some cheaper (~$2) alternative ones looks like this Pawfly pump, but this one has better built quality and does not expose internal pump when changing batteries. I recommend. ... show more

  • Works Just Fine
The media could not be loaded. Old school portable air pump. No usb plugs etc. You need 2 D batteries to operate. (Not sure why it says "AA" on the inside of the battery compartment). The unit itself weighs almost nothing but the batteries give it the weight. The power switch is covered by some silicone I guess to keep water out. Sometimes I had to fumble to turn it on. A bit noisy and I wish the airline tube was bit longer. Otherwise works just fine. ... show more

  • It's not just for fish
Got this for a yard project. My friend has made her own fertilizer in 24 hours using one of these and a comfrey plant she has been growing. It makes great fertilizer but the way I did it took a couple of months before it was ready. With her method she uses an aerator like this and it cuts the time from 2 months to one day! She swears by it so I thought I'd give it a try. The old method produced really stink fertilizer. Our neighbors probably didn't appreciate the smell. Not a bad price for such a useful item! ... show more
