The media could not be loaded. Brand Pawfly Super silent Size 10 gallon Airpump Update: bought 10 gal pump but now have it sliced and one pump doing 55 gallon and 10 gallon tanks. So powerful I actually needed a valve to slow the air when I had it in the 55 gallon alone. Now I bought a second one for a tall 23 inch cylinder corner tank. The ten gallon air pump is running a back wall bubble stone creating a waterfall of bubbles in this 40 gallon. So, yes very powerful for a pump labeled 10 gallon. I suggest if you are using it on anything less that 30 gallons to get a valve to adjust the flow and not to blow out your fish : ). I love the small size. I replaced a very old pump that finally died on the 40 gallon and that pump was 3 x the size of this one. This has rubber feet and when placed correct makes VERY little noise. At one point I had one of these pumps aerating a 55 g, 20 g, and 1 gal all at once. So very strong. And again VERY quiet! The instruction were pictures only so being new to aquarium hobby I was a little intimidated setting up. But figured it out. I will always use this brand pump now! Pawfly. It comes with gereous amount of tube, one way calve, and stone. MAKE SURE you have you one way valve in correct direction or else the air will not flow. You will need to cut tube to add the one way valve. I have other tubes but this one is the best - not too stiff and not too soft! I am so impressed with this pump and kit! Cost on first one was about $16 for me 2023. The second purchase was on sale so I jumped on the offer!!! Original post: I like that it is small. Using in 5 gallon shrimp tank. Easy to set up. Had to cut the tube to insert backup valve but not a problem. Did not have that in instructions. Only picture instructions. VERY quiet when set up on rubber feet and just as long as tub near pump not up against something as it dies shake. It is not making any noise when set up correct. Pressure seems good. Using it with shrimp sponge filter.

I needed to clean and repair my fish pond, so I transferred my fish into a temporary water bin for a few days... The water started to get dirty within the second day, and I was a bit concerned about how comfortable my fish were doing. They seemed a bit anxious, so I was looking for ways to circulate the water. The mini water pump I had for years snapped at the plastic motor piece. Therefore, I was looking for something different that my help it endure longer when I needed it use it. So I did my research, and came to this air pump. It has great value, and the blue color is uplifting. The motor does create a buzzing noise, that may keep a person up if being used overnight, but that could be fixed by unplugging it or switching it off at bedtime. Aside from that, it does come with an air-tube, air-valve, and air-stone. I was glad I had purchased this product, and my fish were happy too. I keep it on hand whenever I need to service my fish pond, and my fish are happy to breathe. Thank you.

I purchased this pump and air stone set for my 5 gallon fish tank. First and foremost, it's very compact which makes it ideal for small spaces where a small tank might be located. The pump itself is pretty quiet, but if you don't put anything underneath it, the vibration noise will drive you crazy. I used a small cork pad and that did the trick. So far I have mine 10 months so it does have longevity for it's small price. I have yet to have to clean the stone, so that's an added bonus. If it were to quit working today, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. Definitely rcommended.

There’s no verbal instructions on the box for installation—only pictures. You have to cut the tube about two inches so that you can put the tube between both ends of the red plastic piece. I have a five gallon tank and used a clothes pin to help the stone stay to the side and down near the bottom of my tank. It is a little bit noisy but not horrible. I did tye a small, tight knot in the tube to slow down the air flow and that helped quite a bit since I have snails, frogs, and a beta living together.

The media could not be loaded. Great pump. I've only had this for about a week or so and so far it works well. Pros: Comes with all of the equipment necessary. (Air stone, tube and check valve.) Relatively silent. Small. Really good instructions. Cons: Airline tube in not long at all, it was hard to put the pump into a good spot because it had to be really close to my sponge filter. It was almost like it pumped out too much air. Overall, I highly recommend this air pump.
