I've bought multiple air pumps for my DWC and NFT small hydroponic set ups and this one is still going strong, while the cheap ones eventually failed. My current Pawfly 254 has been a good pump since 2021. Impressive air pump. Although this one is more expensive than the usual ones I buy, it's worth the money. Highly recommended.

I’m running two of these pumps on six sponge filters, and they’ve been working great. They’re very quiet, and the adjustable output makes it easy to dial in the airflow for either fine or larger bubbles.

I have a 750g, 6’ tall aquarium that multiple different air pumps failed to deliver bubbles too. It was just a combination of too much back pressure from the water and too long of a tube that the air could never make it all the way through. Then I bought this pump and it actually worked. It feeds 3 large air stones no problem at all and its QUIETER than the small airpumps that failed to get the job done. So more power and less noise. Super impressed.

I just received this pump today and hooked it up for my four (5 gal bucket) DWC setup. This thing is amazingly quiet! The last pump that I was using (Vivosun Model ACO-032) sounded like a German Panzer Tank in comparison. The old pump was a few years old but, it was never as quiet (although way more power at 32W versus 8W). For four buckets this Pawfly is all that I needed and so quiet, I can't even tell that it's running other than seeing the bubbles. I just hope that it doesn't die on me too soon like everything else these days! 🫰

This pump is super quiet and puts out a lot of air. I had almost given up on the idea that an air pump for a DWC grow system could be quiet until I got this one.

OK, first off…. This pump worked great! Had awesome airflow, two settings for high flow or low flow, a nice set up for managing the air with four valves that I could use to send vary out of air to different things… and best of all, it was QUIET! Barely the slightest hum and you could only hear that if you were standing right next to it! It sits on the bottom of my aquarium stand less than 8 feet from my recliner and I can’t even hear it over the bubbles it makes. So all of that stuff is great! I was totally thrilled and completely happy with this for about 8 months…. Then I noticed that the amount of air going into my aquarium tank had begun to drop off…. I went and pulled out my manual and as a suggested… I cleaned the air intake and open the housing to check that the bladder was OK and everything… It all looked good and the airflow did make a minor improvement but it’s nothing like it was at the beginning. I don’t know if maybe it is just starting to wear out but I did expect a longer lifespan than eight months… Highly highly highly suggest buying the two year warranty and replacement plan for this product so that if this happens to you, it’ll get replaced. I will be buying another one of these pumps, and this time I’m putting the replacement plan on it!
