I cook very regularly. I find that even following the directions precisely, the nonstick has basically worn off. My old pot and pan set I have had for about 4 years now have better nonstick properties. These cook very evenly and heat pretty quick, but no matter what I do food is sticking to the bottom. I love Paula Deens cookware, I had her first set and they were very good for about 4 years with no complaints. I've had this new set for about a year and I'm so upset each time I cook anything on them because EVERYTHING sticks and don't know why. I take care of all of my kitchenware and always have. I'm even careful not to scratch the Teflon on the pans as I cook so they are not scratched at all. Lately I've been noticing that everything sticks to them whether I put oil on the pan or not and it's very frustrating because many of my meals are ruined because of this. Now this is forcing me to spend money on brand new pots and pans again and I won't be getting Paula Deen this time. ... show more

I really liked the size of the pots as they are not too big, however after the last use (boiling some water), I noticed that the outside is chipping off. Now that it started, I can easily peel the rest of it off. Thats very disappointing!! No product support via Amazon is available and I’m trying to figure out if I can have success through the Paula Dean website but since it’s over 30 days from purchase (it’s only a week past) I’m probably stuck with lil ugly (the pot) now. ... show more

Received the pans yesterday. Good quality. I have used the big pot so far and it cooked beautifully. When I was unpacking the box, I inspected each pan. All of them were wonderful; however, the 5" pan I suspect was not brand new as it did have some heat markings on the bottom. It also looked as if it was scrubbed from being cooked on. I didn't realize when we purchased these pots and pans there was a rubber rim around the lids. This fact is disappointing due to heat wear. So far, they have cooked OK, but are not very heavy.
