I wanted a firm hold gel to use sparingly along with Gibs hair pudding which I love. However the gibs is not in any way firm. I love the scent. This product is most definitely firm hold. It has a slight eucalyptus, minty scent but you dont notice it when you are finally out. The hold is exactly as stated. It does what I paid for it to do . Its also gentle on my hair. They’ve gone from 200ml/6.8oz to 150ml/5.1 oz for the same price. I’d be ordering the same and didn’t pay attention when I was buying. Only noticed when I put the bottle next to my old one and saw the difference.

I wouldn't say "Firm Hold", more like light hold, it does give out that wet shiny look and smells great but you'd have to apply copious amounts 3 times a day to keep your medium to long hair in order.
