I generally tend to go to Asian hairdressers, since I am Asian and have had the best experience with them handling my hair. Other than all of them being able to perform miracles on my bleached-to-an-inch-of-death hair, they also all seemed to gravitate to this serum as their go-to. Now, normally I don't use ANY product on my hair; I rarely even take the time to blow dry it on most days. However, I was so impressed with this serum that this is now the one hair care product that I really can't live without. The first time my hairdresser used this on me, I had been bleaching my hair blonde for probably a year or so, and I had pretty much given up on having the amazing silky texture of my virgin hair days. The first thing I noticed was that it smelled AMAZING. My boyfriend describes it as smelling like the "green apple" candy flavor. It's not overwhelming as all and eventually goes away after a while. My hairdresser rubbed it into my damp hair and I started noticing the difference as soon as he started blow drying. By the time he was all done, my hair was looking immaculate. Like, if you have super dark hair and you ever imagine the kind of blonde hair you could have, that was what it looked like, instead of the crappy dull looking reality. It was SHINY and healthy-looking and just really unbelievable. I was very impressed, but part of me attributed it to the fact that he was a professional and had just chopped off 3 inches of split ends. A few weeks later, I saw a bottle at my local CVS and decided it was affordable enough to at least give it a try myself. So me trying to "style" my hair is ridiculous and just laughable at best, but I still managed to get that same amazing looking hair from that first time. I'm such a sucker for products that simplify my life, and this is definitely one of my favorite for looking put together while actually being a hot mess. ... show more

I’ve been using this for years. I’ve yet to find something comparable, and I’ve tried everything. I have combination wavy/curly hair and I have a hard time getting it to do anything. I use this when I straighten my hair, curl it or if I try to leave it natural. It makes my hair super shiny and gets rid of all frizz. It smells amazing, it’s not greasy and you can actually see and feel the difference in your hair. I can’t recommend this enough for all hair types. I love this so much I’ve bought it for all the women in my life as well so they can experience it. The only gripe I’ve ever had was the pump. I’ve bought at least five bottles where the pump didn’t work, however, on the most recent bottle I bought they seemed to have changed the pump system and it looks like problem solved. We’ll see. Highly recommended.. I would give it ten stars if I could. Seriously.. buy it. ... show more

This is one of my favorite hair products, I’ve been using it for years and have tried other products but the skinny serum works the best. Detangling and leaving my hair super soft. Plus it smells wonderful.

Paul Mitchell - Where have you been all my life? This product is a game changer. I have lots of thick frizzy hair. If I don't wash if for several days it will call down just a bit. So I don't use the two recommended pumps. I started with two but generally end up at six to 10 pumps depending on how much straightening I am doing. My advice is to add slowly or you may end up with stringy hair. The cost works out because I can have good hair for 5-7 days without washing and do NOT reapply daily. Sometimes I use this product in conjunction with Paul Mitchell's round up if I want to tame the frizz but keep some nice waves or curl. ... show more

The pump didn't work but I still had a pump from my previous bottle so i just got the length off an inch & was good to go! No spillage in box so that was awesome!! Been using this on/off for years. I like it but if you use too much your hair will look like greasy oil. Sometimes it seems it absorbs right in so I add a bit more after but that doesn't always work in my favor. I'm not 100% in love with this but until I find another I'll still buy & use it. ... show more

Out of all the similar products that claim to reduce frizz, this one is the best and really works! Leaves my hair shiny and having no frizz, my hair is also very soft. I love this stuff!!
